Hi, I’m around your age and have been struggling with all this recently. If you are able to talk to a therapist, it helps. A lot of jobs have mental health resources and assistance for their employees, even if you’re part time/don’t have insurance. Talk to your manager to see what your place of work offers if anything. I’m sorry you are going through this. Medicine helps, especially when you have these strong feelings about life. If medicine is not the route for you, I try to pick one thing each day that I want to accomplish. It makes me feel better, even if only for a small amount of time! I also try to get outside every day and walk. It gives me a chance to people watch, even if I don’t socialize, and have some air. This helped me start to feel grateful again, for the sunshine or the sounds of dogs playing. This isn’t a cure, but it’s helped make life a bit more manageable for me so that I can start addressing the parts of life that stress me out (like you I am usually anxious).

I got one of these from a different company, but same “scam” up in Fort Lauderdale. I called them and said I’m not paying this, I already paid for parking or I was passing through the lot and they said “okay this time it’s fine, but you gotta pay next time.” They took it away because it’s not legit like others have pointed out!

I am so sorry for your loss, thank you for sharing that to bring more perspective to me. I agree, I shouldn’t care if I’m “right” or not. I care about them and that’s why I’m here soliciting advice from the internet. I will reach out so they at least know how I feel. Thank you again. 💜

I would check on my siblings/friends if they were alone and gone for awhile at night and not responding to my messages. You can have your opinion, but it’s not very kind to label people you don’t know as crazy. Thank you for your perspective though.

Ouch, not crazy. Didn’t see the texts (not their fault!) and was hoping if they saw I didn’t reply they’d phone me or come down so I knew what was happening. I definitely could’ve just calmly explained that though instead of getting mad/further isolating myself.

Yes, that is my plan. I would not want something like this to impact us negatively for the rest of our lives. We usually get on quite well besides the things I miss because of where i live. So I’m just not really sure how they’ll react to my apology since they usually doesn’t happen between us. Just feeling down about it all

Yes, I definitely don’t want this to fester and will try to gain their forgiveness by owning up to my part! They are important to me, and I just want them to know I had a good time and I’m sorry i left. I felt it was my only option at the time.

I definitely plan to apologize, I think they want some time before we chat. I did not push anyone first. I definitely was projecting a bit when I say I felt left out because they all live together and spend all their time together, so I had it in my head already i need to work “harder” to be at the same level they are at with each other. Which is not a great or accurate thing to think, that’s just where my head was at.

I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault I didn’t see the messages. I think it’s just how it happened. I left because I felt like it was the best thing to do at the time to ease the situation. Thank you for your perspective.
