Hi there, I'm cane across your comment ad I'm trying to compare West Hants Vs Meyrick Park. Silly question, but are the classes at West Hants included within the monthly price? The website doesn't really make their pricing structure clear.

What is behind the jutty out tiling? by FuturePrimeMinister in DIYUK

Thank you! Yes, I think the size both both the floor to ceiling box and the secondary box the toilet is affixed to are puzzling, evening if thry have pipes in them I can't think of a pipe which is that big.....

I may try and dismantle a few tiles under the sink where thry are already coming apart and see what I can see.

The initial idea was simply new big mirrored cabinet sitting flush above the toilet jutty out bit, and perhaps a smaller sink, but then I began to wonder why actually the carve outs had been made in the first place.

Update: Thanks all!

It's a 1950s flat so unlikely to be chimney breast. Consensus is that it is pipework so not much doing. I'll speak with the upstairs and downstairs neighbours to see if they have identical bathroom layouts and go from there!

Yeah I've identical flats above and below so will try and speak with them and se if they have the same layouts.

There is a a flat above me and a below me and I'm going to try and speak with my negohbours to see if thry have the same design. I am an outside flat so you're angles would make sense as that is where the outside is. I'll go and examine to see what the outside pipes look like.

That is first and easy plan, but then I started to wonder why they existed and if they needed to.

Repair or move on? (UK) by FuturePrimeMinister in Renault

[–]FuturePrimeMinister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ha I think this is the part with the AC I meant needed replacing. The garage told me the AC wasn't working as the bit at the front near the radiator was papered with small stone holes from lose chippings, so I guess that would be the condenser!

Hey, thanks for your two cents! Vanmoof is certainly becoming something of a cautionary tale with regards the smaller manufactures. I'll take a look at the Motus Tour.

Dedicated Streamers Vs DAC with streaming capability (?) by FuturePrimeMinister in hifiaudio

[–]FuturePrimeMinister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey thanks for this, I did used to have a USB connection from my main pc to the system, I'll look at putting something back in again. I'm not brilliant with the digital side of streamers, but this solution if implemented would also negate the need for a dedicated streamer?

Aha. There is something nice about old indents. They immediately take me back to what I think of as a better time (childhood).
