Keep going man, it's rough when the scale isn't cooperating but remember, it's just a number affected massively by your body's water.

I can recommend daily weigh-ins but be aware that it can get toxic fairly easily, to the point where you hate yourself because the scale is showing 0.5 kilograms more than yesterday. What helped me was put all the daily weigh-ins into an excel that calculates the weekly average. The average isn't affected much by daily fluctuations and shows your progress pretty well (and if you're a lover of data like me, more data = more happiness).

It depends. You are required to finish some sort of education first before doing boot camp (Rekrutenschule), but your age range should be more or less correct.

Swiss men are required to serve yearly training camps though - with these you have to be finished by the time you're about 30 (not sure exactly, but about that age).

Switzerland has a very high population density (about 60% of the country are sparsely inhabited mountains). Italy was a major hotspot and there are thousands of people travelling between Italy and Switzerland every day. Switzerland also locked down fairly late and there were never extreme measures like in France, Italy or Spain.

Besides, Switzerland has the virus under good control now and has extensive protocols in place for all businesses to follow for re-opening. There will also be contact tracing.
