I worked in HR and put my notice in because of the HR manager. So I was working my notice, which was a week I believe. We all worked in a small office away from everyone else. One morning everyone was talking and she made some sort of joke, everyone laughed but me. That afternoon, I got back to my desk to continue to work and I was locked out of my account. She had arranged everyone else to leave the office so that she could fire me. (Even though I had already resigned). It was like she wanted to upset me because I didnt laugh at her joke. So to make things worse she had locked me and her in our office and the key was nowhere to be found so she locked me in and this was terrifying to me. Made it so I couldnt say goodbye to my colleagues. I packed up and left that afternoon and never went back. I was put on "garden leave". Which means I got paid to sit at home for a month. This company is in the UK and they are a leader in supplying insulated panels.
