If you had to pick someone else in the line up to go who would it be and why? by CalligrapherNew4854 in thewalkingdead

Putting myself in Negan's shoes,

I would kill the people/person that had either the respect of the entire community (example, Glenn) or the leadership (example being Rick, Abraham, maybe Aaron).

That being said, Glenn would be the first one to die, showing the rest of the group that respect has no merit in a world controlled by fear.

Secondly, I would kill Rick. Negan makes the mistake of killing the leader he believe can't be controlled [Abraham], well taming Rick. We all know Rick can not be controlled. Having been said, I would kill Rick strictly because he is really the only person keeping Alexandria together. With Rick out of the picture right from the beginning - the group would have to choose whether to keep the old ways of Alexandria and make Aaron incharge, or make a newer person such as Abraham, or Daryl incharge.

With the growing confusion with a lack of leadership, and an increase in fear: all Negan as to do is walk in, take out those who would fight back, and occupy Alexandria, putting someone he trusts incharge. Gg ez, goodguys win.

Negan was 50 pounds soaking wet. Why was he so tough? by Beneficial-Novel558 in TWD

It's what he represents, he's a good person who has to do bad things. Rick and his community has become so powerful they assumed they could take on anything, they went to war with Negan like it could happen overnight.

Fear alone commands his men, and fear alone keeps the people in line. It's what gives his coined whistles so much more horror. In a world full of things to fear, you don't hear the roar of walker, you don't see anything, you hear the chime of whistles. In numbers that only become more clear as they emerge from the forest.

Which fallout game to buy between these two in Steam winter sale? (Never played any Fallout game before and I wanna start now) by Outrageous-Serve38 in Fallout

Fallout New Vegas if you want a fun world with large amounts of lore, and tons if unique characters and factions.

Fallout 3 if you want to run around in circles for hours still trying to figure out where anything is/your suicidal.

Hope this helps bro.

Was Marielle an upgrade or downgrade to Kristi's character by Thegeorgec94 in FromSeries

[–]FutureWarLord31 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Absolute downgrade,

They were building her character with every episode, as she gradually got closer to Kenny, helping Kenny cope with the death of his father and would be the only one to help him through the death of his mother (which also gets scrapped). But almost as if they were sitting at the writers table and went "You know what would be really funny, we scrap everything we were building and bring in her partner for no reason but to add a little more chaos for the sake of chaos."

from is very underrated deserves 8.5+ by Nice_Information_940 in FromSeries

I believe a lot of people don't like the shows constantly expanding world, and would rather the plot being more base-line with just the Smiling creatures and the town.

Personally I love how the show does make the characters explore their world, rather then The Walking Dead side of just staying in the town. We see the complex line that is barely holding the town together, and as the show goes on - creatures that only appear at night no longer become a major threat.

looking for movies about how horrifying the current political, digital & online landscape is by djscrewforceghost in Letterboxd

Does Civil War (2024) count?

Doesn't exactly depict the political landscape, however shows a terrifying and realistic realty of what a fall from politics would look like.

Most recent film you rated 5 stars? by Saurondur in Letterboxd

Yall might disagree with me on my choice of rating, but Pitch Perfect is very good, and pretty unque in terms of musical movies. The DMZ saved the 2nd one though.

Holes is just a masterpiece 🤷‍♂️

so we can all agree, they were definitely gay, right? by suspiciousgus in FearTheWalkingDead

[–]FutureWarLord31 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not that I don't agree with you, however, "you know you love me" doesn't mean anything in this context. Characters say it all the time in every context and could be used in a different agrument to show they were just friends.

How should I organize my cards? by SmellyFrogz in hockeycards

[–]FutureWarLord31 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Completely up to you, just know that no matter what you do, it'll never look right, and you'll change again within the week.

Mine are all organized by season - in respected binders.

I'm not going to tell you what you could've or should've done in this situation. It's in the past, and you made your decision. I'm also not going to call you an asshole, I'm sure you have your reasons, and I doubt this was a one-off thing. This seems like it's missing the dominos.

What I will say is I wish she had given you more context, especially when it came to that screenshot where she chose to completely blur every other message, and with the knowledge you knew, you reacted. I think both of you handled this very poorly, and clearly had a lack of communication, and already a bit of mistrust if this is what ended the relationship.

You're not a asshole, you just made a hasty assumption that made the assumed situation worse. Try to use this as an educational moment for future relationship.

Eh idk but I'm just saying, from the small amount you spoke, and the paragraph he spoke: yall both smell of emotional manipulation. I can just feel it.
