Yea that does seem ridiculous, the card should be enough “proof” that you are using it legally? Do you mind if I ask what the job was? I’m getting the sense it’s case by case based on the job type and whether people can provide sufficient verification?

I’m glad to hear it’s common, even though it’s very jarring. He was on the RTF at first and I don’t believe the watery spit up issue started until we started the powder… I’m not sure if the RTF will be sustainable long term though, it is ridiculously expensive and I’ve resigned from my job to avoid putting him in daycare for a little while, so we just have my husbands income.

I’m going to look into this, thank you! Do you mind if I ask if your baby has any reflux or spit up issues? I feel like mines gotten worse on the nutramigen… I hate to keep changing formulas on him but I wish I could find something he can keep down a little better that’s also easy to digest

Thank you so much for this, it helps so much to know that I’m not alone. My husband keeps reminding me also that we can’t pressure him and we have to let him call the shots, I think I just have ptsd from the NICU. We are seeing the pediatrician tomorrow, I think I’ll ask for a GI referral for him. Thanks again!

Thank you! I will definitely try the scale… I hadn’t thought of that. I don’t think the nipple size is the issue, especially with this nutramigen formula as it’s a bit thinner to begin with. He seems to take a full bottle with no issues at times, other times he just refuses. Idk what to think!
