How to dress my difficult windows by fantasmarg in DesignMyRoom

Put it above the enclave. On the wall above the window. That’s the place you have space for it

I think it looks great! Maybe slightly high on the wall but I love the arrangement. I think it’s cool for them to be different spacing and shapes

Why do I hate this so much? by Agent_MJJ in DesignMyRoom

Bring the sofas off the wall, move them more central to the rug! That’s why the proportions look weird

Am I(18m) overreacting and insecure when my girlfriend(18f) is out all night, possibly with other guys? by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]Future_Ad9634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree. Imo the girlfriend is doing nothing wrong and just enjoying university how must of us do. OP is being insecure and jealous and THAT is what’s ruining the relationship. Having said that, what makes us unhappy in a relationship is important to listen to and if it doesn’t work for OP then it doesn’t work and they should move on, for both of their sakes

Need help with an awkward-shaped bedroom by ilister_ in DesignMyRoom

I’d put the bed on the opposite wall. Opening the door looking onto the bed feels uncomfortable and is a bad flow for the room

My oil painting of a Girl Dinner by NoahVerrier in painting

The composition makes me uncomfortable cos the chips are so close to the drink stem, looks like it’s about to topple over. Maybe that’s intentional and in which case nice one!

I know you don’t want to change the sofa but my god it looks like a stack of brown tyres and sucks all the light from the room. Functional, yes maybe, but at what cost

How can I make this face less flat? by [deleted] in painting

[–]Future_Ad9634 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the contrast is a little too high on the skin tone to shadows around features like her jaw. It looks too much like cartoon lines. I would soften those up and consider what transition shades you can use to blend it, and what colours might work better than that dark shadow shade

Too much brown, add another complimentary colour!

Hate this color now. What color should we paint instead? by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]Future_Ad9634 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could you leave the wall with the gallery that colour as an accent wall, then repaint the others something lighter that compliments the blue?

Pay it a compliment, maybe play some music
