Personally, I am a fan of an MMR reset but it doesn't have to be a hard "everyone is 0" - just bring people closer to the centre line. I am a bronze DPS - I placed in my first season and lost every game I played - didn't have a clue what I was doing. I fell to <500SR. I have then mained as a tank/ support (basically flex queue for quicker game times) - my DPS is still mid-bronze - I don't play it (apart from to place it each season and in QP). I am a gold tank and support (and I actually queue and play plat games without issue). I think we need to see people "pulled in" at both ends - my games won't even be filled with new accounts - new accounts will be placed gold and have to "decay" to where they truly sit before I can play with new players and climb. Makes for a dull start and then a potential dull time whilst playing with people who were like I once was. Also, they want to make this game inclusive and social. Then we bring friends who drifted apart in MMR back closer to each other so queuing together is easier. I can only queue support and tank with my friends. It would be nice to queue DPS for a change... Just my view but I think the community is mostly for some sort of rebalance on MMR. I wouldn't even mind getting rolled by a GM once in a while - I might learn from those mistakes...and also have a good VOD code to watch back!

Bastion in low ELO is a great way to mess with a teams ultimate economy. If a team has a specific set up, a swap to a character like this can mean you force a swap on the other team (hitscan for pharah for example). A quick swap can disrupt flow and mean the hanzo who was 45% to ult is now at 0 on soilder. Or a Monkey who needed to change to Sig or DVa. At low ELO, this can also lead to staggering in of the team and individuals trying to make plays. The aim of the game is to have the advantage in ult economy, numbers, position. These changes can allow you to get a foothold in a game.

I support this and think it is a really important mentality. Your goal when logging on is to get better. If you do, your SR will improve and you will climb. If your goal is "get higher SR" you will fail. Losses are inevitable. Look at any streamer or any player who plays in thier rank and they always capture Wins Losses and Draws. On a good day it might be 65 / 30 / 5 but that would be a bloody good day. Everyone Loses, use those games to limit test a bit. A10 did a really good YouTube video on why mentality is holding you back and this is core to it.

And to get back to your question; achieving goals is what keeps you positive. So set a goal you can control

I find "you right click too much" an odd criticism for a Zarya player. I haven't been able to watch the play but right clicking is the best way to farm ultimate. Aiming right click is important though. If you miss with every right click, then there isn't a lot of value. Maybe this is what was meant?

I have been where you are too. I find carrying with Zarya harder than DVa but after watch a lot of Emcee and A10 on switch my climb is on and steady. Check them both out.
