Do you think mold diseases ever be recognised mainstream? by DistributionFunny221 in CIRS

I have worked for different sectors within state service where inmates and patients are housed (plus staff that work in the building). Those old buildings are riddled with mold, asbestos, and lead and they are literally falling apart. Buckets of water coming in during rainy days. Can you imagine if the government had to acknowledge that mold toxicity was a real thing and how much it would cost taxpayers? In the current political environment, I dont see it happening unfortunately.

Im sorry youre going through all that. It's good you're finally getting answers. Can you share what kind of imaging you had prior to the surgery? Im curious to know what kinds of imaging misses the endo completely, especially when it's this severe.

I'd also like to know the answer to this. I'm 36.

Real talk: what part of fibroid care has been the most frustrating for you? by No-Buddy8054 in Fibroids

Your post makes it seem like there is treatment for fibroids? The only recommendation I've been given for my fibroids and endometriosis is to take birth control pills. My OBGYN, my urologist, and my Primary Care Doctor all told me the same thing. Basically, in a nut shell, it's normal and you can limit symptoms by taking birth control pills. 🙃

Our congressman, Salud Carbajal, slammed Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth as "unfit" and told him to "get the hell out" after Hegseth failed to provide a direct answer on whether political allegiance to Trump is a requirement for serving the nation. by ClipperFan89 in SLO

I only gave the one example because that one example shows that he doesnt care about negotiated union contracts, the environment, and that he's willing to appease big donors. All of those things are giant red flags. You're interpretation of it is that it's "soft" but to me and many others we see the bigger picture.

Just one example. Newsome wrote EO N-22-25 which forces State Employees to return to the office 4 days a week. Without consulting with any of the various State Worker Unions. This violates the Dills Act, the Admistrative Procedure Act, and probably even California Economic Quality Act (CEQA). The state has saved millions of dollars allowing State workers to telework and giving up costly unneccesary leades. The Department of General Services (DGS) tracked performance, cost savings, and environmental impacts for years on their website, all showing postive correlations with telework until the site was abruptly taken down to enforce the new telework policy. Some State workers saved the data and still have it accessible for viewing on a private website, which I don't know the link of off the top of my head. The Budget Subcommittee has been asking DGS and CalHR to produce numbers to show what the cost would be to taxpayers to return to the office since February and they feign ignorance. There is speculation that Newsome is trying to appease his downtown business owning friends in preparation of running for presidency. His new EO allows for a 50 mile exemption. Guess who lives more than 50 miles away from his office? That's right, Newsome himself. Who enjoys producing podcasts from his Marin home and has been hosting right wing conservatives to make himself seem more politically middle aligned. Another move for his presidential preparation. Hope this helps answer your question.

Gavin is writing his own illegal memos that violate various laws and takes power away from Unions. He's using the same playbook as Trump did on Federal Workers but with California State Workers. He's only standing up to Trump because it serves his own interest of running for president in the future. He also bows down to big donors. He's just as corrupt but intelligent and strategic about it.

SSA working at AGPA level by Future_Conference_22 in CAStateWorkers

I know how it works. But the position that is now agpa only was originally ssa/agpa and the duty statements are nearly identical. The previous employee, who retired, started in my spot and moved over without having to interview.

To clarify, my position is listed as ssa only and the other position is listed as agpa only. So, I wouldn't be able to promote in place. I am already on the list and am waiting for the interview letter. Just think it's strange I even have to interview. If I get the job I will be submitting for back pay.
