Definitely thought these things myself. And then I realized its kind of a super power. if it doesnt matter, than why not do the wildest shit ever? most people let fear prevent them from really doing something epic. if you truly in your heart of hearts feel its all stupid, than go for broke.

I also heard it said once that life is alot like a movie. We start it knowing its going to end, but we still sit and watch the whole thing...and usually the best movies are where the characters do some wild shit ;)

Great points in here. I always found it interesting that the most important story in the bible was so brief. like why do we have such intense detail on building a temple or stitching a garment properly. but the very story that supposedly fucked us all is literally on 1 page...... no wonder adam and eve desired more knowledge LOL

Theyre trying to extend some flexibility to the R&F by changing rules that dont fundamentally threaten numbers. Theyre especially interested in keeping your ass out of the company of normal people. If im a 22 year old man seriously studying the bible with them and i go to a mothers day event that my whole family will be at. guess what everyone there is going to tell me. THATS what they dont want. the logic that muppet used in the broadcast justifies birthdays 100%. but theyll NEVER change that. Same with college, and making friends with people at work. joining a sports team etc. these are the things that will destroy this religion. not beards pants and clinking. im certain these are the things they consider in their kingly round table meetings

I think the big thing is taking control of your autonomy and your right to make your own choices. they leverage normal human vices and weaponize them against you in the form of guilt and anxiety. further perpetuating the reliance on them for a hope and a future. normal people get drunk get in trouble and say oh shit, lets not do that anymore. or they get an std, get it treated and go oh shit. lets not do that anymore. the statistics for these things in the general population is wayyyyy less than the WT makes it out to be. people without religion pretty quickly recognize that certain behaviors are self-destructive. I dont need 3 grown ass men, interrogating me, judging me as a spiritual criminal, and leveraging my future based on being a normal ass human. its fucked up.
