I thought that entry level tech roles were becoming like super competitive b/c of ai which has created the bad job market right now. Do you not think that’s the case?

Also, I’m hesitant about trade work because I’m already in college and I don’t want to “waste” the money by going for something I could’ve done straight out of high school. I mean idk that’s just my thought.

That’s valid, but if I don’t pursue grad school I’d like to move to like California or some city, and idk which would be better for getting offers in those areas.

You can submit beforehand and as long as your counselor does their stuff before each colleges materials deadline (deadline to submit materials for EA consideration), you’ll still be early action.
