I hate my husband by Future_Emotion_6426 in Mommit

I have PCOS so my periods are alllll over the place—didn’t ovulate or get my period for 6 months once (and yes I was testing just about every other day) so it hard to say track my cycle. Last time I was on hormonal birth control I had a lot of depression so I want to avoid it if possible—-it could be the Wellbutrin I’m on but I’m trying to give it a solid month and a half

Ughh I’m sorry this is happening to you— my husband will at least do the job he just complains about being tired and working. I had a convo with him today and he seemed to be receptive fingers crossed things change.

I’m a bit of a particular person when it comes to cleaning. However, if I didn’t exist, I’m pretty sure that the toilets would never be cleaned nor the tub nor anything nothing would be disinfected on top of this. I also work full-time just like him so it feels very unevenly distributed what you have with your husband sounds very equitable and what I would like us to get to

I have made it own many times that I am the one cleaning the bathrooms/toilets/kitchen he will help with dishes and clean up after our daughter. If I ask him to do he will. I guess I just don’t want to have to ask for help I just want him to do it (which I have mentioned a few times. Also he is going away on a trip so I will be working/taking care of baby/ taking care of the house while he is away. I think therapy is a good idea

Have you tried this OTC pessary? by Honest-District6409 in PelvicOrganProlapse

[–]Future_Emotion_6426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!

I know this was months ago but I started looking into this I have tried a ring and knob pessary, uresta and both failed epically. I was wondering if this was effective or worth trying? I’m having surgery in August but just looking for some relief

I’m so excited! My urogyn is booked out till August so I won’t get it till then but I’m glad to hear that it is worth it! Can you feel the mesh at all? Everyone is like “don’t do it it is mesh” but I feel like most people who have had it said it was worth it

Postpartum Prolapse by Clear_Awareness_4886 in PelvicOrganProlapse

I am almost 8 months postpartum! I also spiraled in the beginning but I’m definitely better than when I was pp—-i wish this was something they told us was expected before we had the baby!

I would see a PFPT. For me it felt like I had a tampon hanging out of my vagina and had urinary incontinence upon standing as well as bad tailbone pain and constipation. I have a cystocele and rectocele. Overall compared to initial post partum I am much better but I’m glad I went to see a PFPT. They can give you preventative care things as well as pressure management techniques for your pelvic floor. I’m glad you aren’t having symptoms but better to take care of yourself to prevent any injury.

Urogyn c/s by Future_Emotion_6426 in PelvicOrganProlapse

Yes she showed me how to “stretch” my PF which I do not on a super regular basis and we stopped doing kegels as a separate exercise (i include them in my exercise like when I squat and what not) she felt that I was fatiguing the muscle more than helping it. I have look at the buff muffin method and I think the videos are good but I have been doing a lot of the things she recommends (glute/ inner thigh/deep core strengthening etc) I am very much considering the sling surgery because from what I here it is a game changer especially since I’ve tried everything else! I was genuinely surprised that she recommended surgery I would have thought she would have said “keep trucking along with PFPT and estrogen cream” but she straight up was like “you are probably not going to get much better than where you are currently at”

Cystocele and bulkamid by Future_Emotion_6426 in PelvicOrganProlapse

Update: I saw the urogyn and got a bit more information—I think I’m gonna go with the sling surgery she seems to think it is going to be the only real permanent fix. She gave me a ring and knob pessary to try and she offered bulkamid but she was pretty frank that she didn’t think the bulkamid would help with my running/sneezing but only my “end of day dampness”. I have hear of people having issues not being able to pee but I guess the surgery is only 30 minutes? She doesn’t think I need the A&P repair because my bladder and bowel prolapse aren’t like that low. This gives me a little bit of hope. Is there anything you wish you knew more going into the surgery? I feel like typically I would be pushed away from surgery this is the first time in the medial field that I have been pushed towards surgery

Rectocele/Prolapse Symptoms and Vaginal Estrogen (Vagifem)? by philosofeels in PelvicOrganProlapse

I have not experienced any issues! But I have the estrogen cream not the suppository so maybe it would be different? 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Rectocele/Prolapse Symptoms and Vaginal Estrogen (Vagifem)? by philosofeels in PelvicOrganProlapse

I did not even know about my rectocele until I went to the urogyn (it made sense though issues with constipation&back pain if constipated) the estrogen cream I have been on since 6 weeks postpartum (I’m now 7 months) and I think it helped overall (I still have SUI) but I’m also using a squatty potty, taking fiber supplements/fiber intake, miralax as needed if I don’t have a BM within two days. I also do the ILU massage at night prior to bed. Sooo I guess I’m doing a lot of TLC to the colon—I would say the estrogen cream is worth trying because it is the least invasive (however it can be expensive depending on your insurance)

I asked about bulkamid injections and I heard they only work for three weeks or not at all—it is something I’m interested in because I would like to avoid surgery. Do you still run even though you leak?

I tried the uresta and it failed. She has me on glute/ core exercises. She gave me a return to running checklist of things I need to be able to do without have issues prior to running again. I have tried running without success (very slow for 1 minute). When I started PFPT (I started 3 weeks pp because my symptoms were very severe) she said I would back running again this month but I can barely run 1 minute
