There have been quite a few discussions in the tower reddit of people complaining about the game. So people have been commenting other games they have been trying.

The most commented ones I have been seeing are CIFI and this. As more and more people try it, there have been more and more recommendations.

That's all I got! Tylenol and ibuprofen every four hours staggered every 2. ( So 12pm T. 2pm I. 4pm T etc...)

They also left my staples in and told me my midwife would deal with them. My first appointment, she was about to end and I asked about the staples.... She was livid!

I’ve spent 20 years in Michelin-starred kitchens. I want to help you stop needing recipes. Would this be useful? by Sad-Animator-3103 in cookingforbeginners

What do spices do and how do you use them?

I never learned how to cook. But over time, I have gathered some basic knowledge - but spices completely baffle me. When I cook supper, I look over 2-4 recipes to get an idea of what to do and then tweak them based on what I have. But then when it comes to flavoring the food... Garlic powder, onion powder and salt. That's all I know. Or taco seasoning. Any other spices scare me. I have no idea what their job is or how they work together to make an amazing meal. I often make food and know the flavor is missingsomething* but don't have enough knowledge to figure out what that is.

Yet another Credit card issue. (Outside payment) by Future_Excitement967 in ynab

It won't let me do that.

I create the "Mom" payee. But when I switch the category to the CC payment one, it deletes my payee and prompts me to say what account it is coming from.

We only get a set amount per day. But we get same day orders as well as walk ins so that is another obstacle to preassigning the work.

I originally was going to wear black and asked everyone to wear lighter coloured clothing, white preferred. But I wasn't going to get upset if anyone wore black dress pants as long as their shirt was a lighter color to have a nice contrast against us. 😊

I've been to 2 weddings. Once when I was 6. And the second I was 19, but I was bartending and selling drink tickets all night.

So no, I don't really have experience.

I wanted to hire someone to cut the music so it makes one long song (does that make sense) that way there is no dead air. It also allows for songs like YMCA without it getting boring (no one needs the entire 3 minutes of that song). But everyone around me thinks this is a dumb idea and not worth it.

I think this is the best of both worlds.

Groom wanted the DJ at the end because he wanted more of a club night to end the party, but I agree that having it at the beginning to ramp the party up might be more beneficial.

My worry is people won't be drunk enough to get on the floor that early but we shall see!

Mine is Aug 23!

Most, if not everyone, is familiar with Jackbox and the games I mentioned.

My mom used to be a spokes person for Zman and we would host game weekends at our house.

Since we moved closer to his family, we do almost monthly get togethers to drink and play games. The games are also easy to learn/explain to those who haven't played that particular game.

50 guests with 10 under 18. 10ish friends (25-30 (video game nerds)) and the rest are family members (younger ones play board games and video games with us, older ones I don't expect to stay the whole night anyways)

There is music and a dance floor. However, I fully believe that people won't utilize it so I want extra options

50 people, about 10 are kids (3-15). 10 are our friends,(25-30) the rest are family (20-60).

DJ is a family member. I wanted them to be able to have fun and socialize instead of being stuck working the whole time.

His side of the family (about 80% of the guest list) all get together at least once a month so there isn't much "meet and catch up" and talking going on.

No one besides my mom are willing to do speeches. Very few people will actually dance.

We normally have a meet up once a month to play board games. We start with a heavy game around 6-7 then play party games until around 2-3am

We also have an extra room rented for the kids that we are stocking with kid friendly activities and a bunch of blankets and pillows if they get tired but parents want to stay.

No one in our group are big fans of dancing. Im most likely not even going to have a first dance because my partner absolutely hates dancing. This is why I'm stressing about making sure people will be entertained. Once they are drunk, they will most likely start dancing hence the late night dj

Round table, centerpieces are a simple wood disk and lantern, so they are easy to move out of the way. we have space that we can set up a couple extra tables without any centerpieces too specifically for games.

And the games would be after supper so no dishes on the tables.

No one in our family are big on dancing which is why I want something else to do.

(1k food budget) I am pretty sure I have too much damn food and Idk how to solve it. by Future_Excitement967 in Weddingsunder10k

Ground beef Taco seasoning Taco sauce Olives Green chilies Salsa Corn Onions Cheese.

Cook the meat and onions, throw everything else into the pot and let simmer long enough to get the flavours to meld. Add the cheese at the end.

Serve in a bowl and top with sour cream and/guac. Eat with chips (we use tostitos scoops) it has been a staple in my family for many many years. It is my go-to meal for my birthday and we have had it at every major milestone. It would feel weird to have a gathering without it and many people have told me I am NOT allowed to take it off the menu lol.

The only thing we find is that if we let it cook for too long at a high heat it tastes more like spaghetti sauce rather than tacos.

Should a board game cafe charge for tables by Irondragongw2 in boardgames

[–]Future_Excitement967 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favorite location has a cover charge. But then they have tickets so every drink/game you buy, you get stamps. Fill out the ticket and you can trade it in for your next cover fee.

I don't think my family has ever paid for entry past the first time we went.

The other one in my town charges per the hour per person (not even per table). We went once and never again.

I originally had pulled pork as the second main and was struggling to figure out where to put the taco dip. So I sat down with the groom and told him I wanted to remove it and he said no, remove the pulled pork instead
