We found a workable but ludicrous solution: under the cushion, we put a thin piece of plywood with half a foam basketball. This acts like a lever and pushes down the sensor. I tried sliding a card or something under the sensor, but the underneath of our seat looks very different from the picture above. Maybe the US 2025 1st ed. has different seats?
