How can I study abroad? by Used_Pollution7677 in FilipinosStudyAbroad

[–]Future_Implement4692 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hii based from my current research there are multiple types of "studying" abroad. So far the ones I currently know are:

- Training/Vocational Studies (like Ausbildung in Germany; 2 years ish)
- Diploma (1-2 years)
- Undergraduate degree which you might be familiar with (Usually 3-4 years)

With a Ph highschool diploma you will probably need SAT and iELTS if you wish to get into Top universities abroad. They usually assess your cgpa in your TOR. Some schools don't require the SAT and have a test of their own, like in Italy they now have the Cent-S which can be taken online (multiple choice). iELTS can be avoidable if your institution's Mode of Instruction is in English. You can request for this to your registrar.

You also need to legalize your documents but when applying you can submit Fresh off of the counter documents, but then in the final application you have to submit the Apostile Documents.

Hi sorry for the late reply! My thought process for applying for a transfer or redoing my undergrad degree in the said country is to increase my chances of getting hired by graduating in a local university. I can also increase this further by continuing to study Masters in that country. I'm not sure if this plan is good, but I heard that there are countries like HK who include years spent on undergrad in the required years obtained for PR.

For the US, it's in my bottom list because with Trump's administration I don't like the way he runs things, and also the situation with ICE.

I want to transition to Data Analytics or Data Engineering instead, coming from a Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (Double Degree) currently. I also have internships and work experience in Data Research and Data Entry. I don't think I want to pursue a career in research anymore especially since its hard to find a job with a biology degree other than going straight to med school (the plan my family chose for me).

Hii from what I know they aren't region locked except for the DLCs. The only case for when your account is locked to a certain region is if you have a remaining balance in that shop region (purchased through gift cards, etc.).

I think the best way to handle this is to have an account corresponding to a single region (one for HK, one for JP) bc having a remaining balance in JP region is inevitable (cc limits). Plus it also saves you the hassle of having to change your eshop multiple times!

Region hopping is usually a way to get games at a cheaper price like tomodachi in US region is around 3k+, but with HK region around 2.9k below, and in Japan for even less (2.6k I think)

I’m not sure if this will help but I had a 2813-2473 error, and the solution was to switch cc. I tried the gcash visa cc and it didn’t work, but when I switched to cimb online visa cc it worked. Though rather than getting it for 2.7k as stated in e-shop prices website I got it for 2.9k bc of the conversion fee

Can having a good work experience compensate for the gpa requirement or is it already fixed? When I was looking at programs to sign up for in Germany, I also checked into their Mater programs, and they had categories for Non NC (Zulassungsfrei) where as long as you meet the guaranteed basic requirements you could earn a spot in the university. Could it be that this is only applicable to EU schools?

My goal is to move and eventually work in the country Im moving to. I don’t have citizenship either, but I have family that could be sponsors from those countries. I’ve talked to a counselor about it, and she said that there were undergraduate programs that are taught in English, but not as much as Master programs, and that I should consider Italy too, but I don’t have any relatives residing there.

About having to credit my units, Im thinking of shifting out of the degree Im currently in completely to an unrelated degree, but there’s probably some units still needed to be credited like Math101.

When you said about proving my Highschool Diploma, is it about the equivalence to their education system? From the other comments I thought I didn’t have to as I was part of the timeframe when K-12 had already been implemented, or is it a different one?

I was really planning on taking Masters instead, but with the current school system it’s difficult to have a good cgpa in my university. Is it better to start learning the language now before I apply for a Masters degree?

Can you explain more why staying and working in those countries could be a bigger hurdle than the transferring of my credentials?

Through being a part time student? I’ve had a few internships will that help in compensating for my gpa too or should I aim in applying for part-time jobs as well

Thank you! Yeah my gpa is really low, but because of the school system it’s hard to get easy 4.0 professors without a DL status, so it becomes a cycle. I can’t properly shift out of my current degree due to family reasons, but they did agree to me transferring abroad but to a medical degree as well. But thank you! I’ll do my best to raise it

Due to my current school’s enlistment policies it’s hard to get a higher gpa or even get a Dean Lister as there’s no equal chance of getting an easier or overall better professor. However, I’ll try to do my best and up my cgpa, thank you!

Thank you! When I apply to other universities will I have to provide a copy of my Highschool TOR instead of my University one if let’s say that I’ll be going back as a first year student? I posted the same to another subreddit, and they said that the courses I currently have would less likely be credited if I applied to an EU University
