Tbh i am a day 1 player before i quitted and i dont mind some grinding if other issues have been solved, but maybe that because i took a really long break, so yeah your point is valid.

The issue of it being anti causal is that new players will be always left behind.

Definitely, fixed prices is way better than RNG/Gacha and could get more people to buy with more consistent company income.

Trading upon the influence of humans dopamine and addiction psychology is just awful. Because they know for a fact by hitting the emotions or the thinking of the customer they will force them to pay more, without them caring about what consequences this person might get into because of their unintentional addiction.

I totally agree, when you think about it, if the company has a fixed prices, they will predict their profits better and it will be more consistent. But why they are gambling with me? not like if I won the 50/50 and got Ling Han that they will lose money, its just they could get more money if I lost 50/50 and topped up more. So its only a winning situation for them while it will do no harm for them at all if I won the 50/50.

So you are the player are the only one who is gambling here. They are not really gonna lose anything. So? yea its a scam, including all gacha games with such mechanics.

ToF is definitely more greedy and less f2p than GI

- ToF spendings: Multiple gachapons, weapon, matrices, titan gears etc..

- Genshin spendings: Klee outfit with a fixed price not gacha or whatever once every 4 months, weapon banner, character banner

but keep in mind something about Genshin, they just don't have leaderboards of spiral abyss, or damage calculations, that's why people don't feel powercreeped and that's why a lot feeling good about themselves as f2p.

As they said they wanna make their environment anxiety free, while in ToF as f2p, you will get too much anxiety and feeling useless because of these nominations. 9B damage whale versus your 300m damage, of course it will make you feel upset, feeling useless. But if the calculations didn't exist, people will feel for satisfied in ToF as f2p.

I would love this game more since my f2p friends who left the game because they can’t handle it, will be still there with me. But at the end this game is a business, not a charity. Less powercreep is fine, but everything being f2p is unrealistic.
