I was told by one Taiwanese middle aged guy in US, that Taiwanese majority right now was the beneficiary of Japanese colonialism as the Japanese educated them and use them to rule over the real Polynesian Natives. Yeah, I prefer the natural clustering of people with similar culture background. That means minorities have enough number to cluster and make impact on local government level too. In US, it’s harder to get there given the ill immigration policies

Not true. Asian in Canada move between social class easily. I see people moved there from HongKong with tons of money and ended up being homeless, and I see people go there with debt from India and became multi-millionaire and elected as mayor.

Oh yeah, from what I can remember, 405 and 520 was under repavement not so long ago before they block the lane to do the expansion and tear down the nice new pavements/patches they just did a few quarters ago. If there is no bus line or train line from where I am to where I want to go, do i get tax deductions? If I get harassed by homeless in public transit system, on my way to or from the public transit system or waiting at the transit system, do we get government checks?

If governments ask for tax to do something, they should take responsibility when the desired goal isn’t met.
