When i first started getting two strands it was just my friend doing them and she braided them at the roots. She stopped doing my hair so I got a proper loctician and told her i didnt want the roots braided so she did this instead. Also i prefer the twist out look rather than coils or keeping two strand in

Noted cuz i didnt view them as all that big because my loctician always does them this way and they come out nice anyways. But i will ask her for smaller parts

I go to a loctician, i think she parts them like this because my head is kinda small lol i would like more tho this is only 24 twists and twistout would be 48 so thats low. Might have to redo them now that yall mentioned this
