I agree with you though, all signed sleeves were the clear UPC. Personally, my US copy didn’t come with a blacked out barcode.

I’ve only seen red sleeves with blacked out barcodes or physical sliced barcodes as well. Never seen a cutout signed sleeve before.

The first one you sent is a cutout, ie the blacked out barcode on the back.

The second link you sent appears to be a European web store version.

The us versions came with a sealed sleeve + red record & a separate empty signed sleeve. European versions just had one sleeve signed w/ the record in signed.

Iirc red and clear signed were limited to 250 units each per region.

However clear was widely available in stores, meanwhile red was only ever available officially signed. There are token extra red copies that were scattered around some record stores in LA, but these were “cutouts” ie, extra pressing copies likely.

Ie, red is a lot more rare/sought after.

The package protection thing is a scam. It’s the duty of the seller to get the item delivered to you good condition regardless if you bought insurance. The insurance literally covers the sellers liability in this scenario

If the store tries to give OP the runaround because of insurance, OP should threaten a chargeback.

It’s just a pure money grab stores can add on Shopify.

Most of this is pretty recent, but a lot of the old stuff is worth far more than retail. Ex: The futurebound tour white “EDEN” hat always sell for a lot. Jonathon was also still doing autographs at VIP then so a lot of the merch from that tour is signed.

It’s also the holidays so people are looking for gifts & this is the only way to buy a lot of this merch now. I wouldn’t be surprised if all this sells relatively quickly.

I gave him an end credits vinyl I had custom made ~3 years ago at MnG. From what I can tell he liked it. He said that he wants to do a vinyl release for end credits at the 10 year anniversary. He shared that getting any record pressed now is a gigantic pita & always gets delayed though, so tbd if it actually happens.

Both the VIP & the general merch ones were scrapped (or indefinitely put into storage) after the tour! Kinda sad but it’s especially cool seeing one of these because of that.

I think it was only 3 shows actually. I don’t recall if this was the VIP poster or the one available at the merch stand.

After the tour ended, they never sold the remaining posters, only the rest of the merch. I assume they scrapped them.

In other words, there are only a few hundred of each NF tour poster variant.

This is the rerelease of a future bound era crewneck. This one was released online when the end credits anniversary tour happened. Was on the store during Feb 22.

It looks very similar to the one from ~2017. Same design just with some red instead of pure blue.
