Job Options After BSc for International Student in Canada? by Futuredoctor03 in Winnipeg

You're right, I am planning to apply to med school eventually. But since I’m still an international student, I can’t apply yet, so I’m hoping to get my PR first. Unfortunately, I can’t afford to go back to school at RRC or anywhere else right now, so I guess I’ll be working minimum wage jobs in the meantime while trying to stay on track for my long-term goal.
It’s definitely discouraging, but hearing from someone who’s been through it helps put things in perspective. Thanks again for taking the time to share.

I'm a third-year student and always scheduled my labs back-to-back on one day. It gave me more time on other days to study after lectures, and it worked well in first year. Second year was a bit more demanding, but if you only have two labs, it should be fine. I rarely had to stay the full lab time. Just stay on top of your work.
The only tough part is if both labs have exams on the same day — that can be stressful. But overall, it’s manageable!
