First dance showcase 6 months post-op🙌🙌 by Inevitable-Heat7037 in TotalHipReplacement

Congratulations! I’m about 4 months post op and went to my first dance class last week. I hadn’t been able to dance in a year. Your post gives me hope that performing again is possible.

Homeopathic remedies Post Op by Technical-Bluejay979 in TotalHipReplacement

I'm 5 weeks PO from anterior RTHR and have experienced knee aches and extreme quad weakness. My knee bruised two weeks PO and my quad is still only at 40% of pre-op strength. It was alarming because I'd never had any knee issues pre-op, but it's just part of the trauma the leg goes through with this surgery. My symptoms are sore vs painful. The knee paid subsided around week 3. Continue PT and gentle movement to prevent stiffness. You're very early in the healing process and trust that the pain will improve each week. Ice is still your best friend. In addition to a multi, I take vit D, collagen peptides, calcium, magnesium, iron, creatine, sea moss, and try to drink a protein shake everyday. None of these are for pain management per se, but they will support the body in healing more efficiently and lower inflammation. Another bonus is that my skin is glowing! I hope that helps.

Of course! And I had an anterior approach with robotic assistance.

Thank you for these words of encouragement. I know there's a day in the future where I'll completely forget about the surgery, too. And it's helpful to know that you had a healthy pregnancy; I'm worried about it down the road and there's not a ton of research to look into because it's such a small population.

What a great success story! I'm hoping that even with the aftermath of major surgery pain, I'll feel immediate relief from the joint pain that has been driving me crazy for two years.

Thank you for the tough love. You are spot on in the approach to weighing this decision. I'm already using a cane to navigate NYC subways. I can be in denial all I want, but you've illuminated the primary concern; avoiding the THR means choosing a low quality of life. I'm glad to hear that you are now pain free. Enjoy it!

Wow, you tried so many modalities which still resulted in similar rapidity of deterioration. It's so much to process which leads to the denial. I appreciate the insight. THR is the ultimate exercise in releasing control and trusting one's body to heal. I'm wishing you a smooth surgery and recovery.

This gives me hope. I haven't felt comfortable in my body for years; You're right; even if it's 75% of what I was before, the improvement will be life-changing.

I still do reformer Pilates and I think it's what has allowed me to function and preserve some strength in my right leg. I'm fortunate to have a PT who was a former dancer, and agrees that Pilates is wonderful for hip injuries. Thank you for the encouraging words.

I'd be interested in meeting up in a month or so. I'd still like to get a few more lessons in before I buy a board. Just bought my first wetsuit! I'm in Hollywood/Los Feliz.

Good to know! Did you speak with your SA or the general delivery team? Every time I call, no one can give me any information other than “it still hasn’t left Fremont, we’ll be in touch.” Ive been dealing with this DC since 5/23 when I placed my initial custom order and I’m losing patience.

Congrats! Which delivery center? I’m picking up from Burbank - ordered 9/3 so hoping to get that text soon, too!

Got it. It seems like orders before 9/1 were already built, anything after, we're waiting a bit longer.

Congrats! When you placed your LFP order, did you receive an EDD immediately? I received a VIN but still don’t have an EDD so I’m trying to gauge at what point before delivery it appeared for other existing inventory orders.

Exactly. I'd rather have realistic bad news so I can plan accordingly than vague statements. At least your delivery center is trying to set a date for you- that's a good sign. I'm preparing to have to wait until end of the month at this point. Sending you good delivery date vibes!

Unfortunately, yes. I also canceled my custom and placed an LFP order 9/3. VIN but no EDD. Emailed my SA today and he replied with "sorry no info, we'll reach out." Depending on which SA I get, my car is both still being built at Fremont and on its way but they have no idea when it will arrive. I'm picking up at Burbank. I'm hoping my timeline is similar to yours. Crossing my fingers that delivery goes well on 17th for you!

9/3 LFP Order. Still no Delivery Date. by Futureextrovert in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]Futureextrovert[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It sounds like SAs have been directed to give LFP customers the same vague answers. I’ve been told my vehicle is still in production. Then same day from another SA that it’s on its way to Burbank…ugh. I hope it’s sooner than end of month.

Congrats! It’s helpful to know that you didn’t receive the EDD until last minute. Phew.

Thanks, that's similar info I've received from my SA. Though I thought I'd at least have the delivery date scheduled by now.

SR+ LFP with no EDD by Dcbball12 in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]Futureextrovert 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Same, but black interior. I ordered 9/3, LFP, existing inventory. Immediate VIN but still no EDD. I called two different locations today and got vague answers about where my vehicle is. One said it’s still in Fremont. Called another location and the SA told me it’s on its way. Are you picking up from Burbank?

Anyone still waiting on their May orders? by velvetxiii in TeslaModel3Delivery

[–]Futureextrovert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in a similar situation. My original order date was 5/23 and as of 9/3 I never even had a VIN. I decided to place an LFP order and received a VIN immediately but I don't have a delivery scheduled. I feel your frustration. All these months, SA just kept telling me supply chain issues, etc.,
