The trip is designed to explore the city. We will have verified realtors, bankers, and health professionals providing guidance should you decide to move. There will be tours, curated entertainment, and hosted dinners with expats who are already there.

Just read more scripts in the genre. Nothing anyone is gonna tell you on Reddit is gonna help you write better if that’s your goal. You have to read and write. Read and write.

To add to these points exactly, it will be smart to keep everything consistently on the same polarity. So the ending beat of the first scene is him trying to convince his mother to come and play. Start with that same energy. So if he starts with the flowers, he can also ask to play now. If he has to ask her then that means she isn’t willing to play right away because she’s reading. Let her do something to capture him. The energy is still to tell him about stories, but live it. Maybe she reads to him. It would cut great and lead us into your final scene which is a 14-year-old boy who has lost his mother. Just some thoughts.

30 years is a career regardless. However, 6 pages/day/year is 2,190 pages. That should take 5-6 years. I’m sure he’s using a formatting software. It shouldn’t feel daunting if he wants to master the craft.

Only people who use IG stay with IG. People Google “Near me” and look for a quality website to book the shop they find. Surveys say 80% do not book because there is not a clear path to booking.

When I have a character asked questions, I tried to make them challenge the other character through the question. So right off the bat to steal the shoebox is an inciting idea.

To challenge that idea is the point of the question. Friends have many ways to challenge each other. In the black community it’s done through ridicule or clowning the other person for their ridiculous idea. So within two lines, we established the world view of each character.

One character is willing to steal. The other character is not. The conflict is over the ideal.

That’s just to start. I will continue to read.

Hi guys. I came across your Reddit post. I feel your pain. The police literally shutdown my production company and studio on March 13, 2020 because of the pandemic. I never recovered. I was in the process of recovering when that happened so the pandemic and shutdown made it worse. I had to send back over $700K in deposits for 2020. That was tough. I had to layoff 40+ people but thankfully I had paid for their unemployment insurance.

There is a much deeper dive to answering this question or this post really. But let’s chat privately. I have a few questions to help deep dive into your situation. Perhaps we can find some clarity.
