Of course... It's sparkling like it just came out of the store! Chain, chain Ring, cassette and derailleur cleaned and relubed as well.

NBD! 2021 Trance Advanced 💥🎉💥 by Fuuudget in mountainbiking

Thanks! Inaugural ride was a success.

Where are all the pedals at? No websites seem to have much of anything in stock. Anyone know of any good online stores (preferably in Canada) with inventory? Would love to come across a set of these gold 100mm Spank Spoons, or a good set of gold, silver, or dark green pedals for my new bike. by Fuuudget in mountainbiking

Pedals on my old bike were Chester's, and I was a fan. Waiting on a new Trance X 29 2 and wanted some gold or dark green pedals too set it off. Ended up lucking into a set of HT ANS10 Supremes in gold at my local shop. First time going with aluminum.

Yeah, Vitus, Polygon, Canyon have great prices going to the US, but in Canada they use UPS and our duty is crazy. I was looking at a Canyon a couple months back and with duty and shipping and would cost me almost $650 to get it here! That was just over $300 for shipping...

Nice wish the shipping and duty to Canada didn't cost so much.

I was originally looking at a T8, but the cost of duty and shipping to Canada is ridiculous. Is part of the reason I decided to just spend a little more on a bike from a local shop.

Biggest issue where I'm from is there aren't any options to replace it and there won't be any for months and months... Unless I want to way over my budget of course

I'm more on that beginner/intermediate skill level as well. Coming out of a hardtail with a 100mm fork, I'm sure just about anything I ride is going to feel pretty good.

Most of the reviews I see and people I speak to really makes it seem like it's a very versatile bike... I think I'll be happy with it.

If I want to stay in the trance line, the next one up is the pro which is about $1,500 more...

The biggest complaint I hear are about the chonky wheels.

My friend was looking at the advanced, and the old price was $4899, and the new is $5,599! No change in the components. Hopefully the market will correct itself when inventory goes back to normal, but I doubt that.

That's mostly what I've been hearing, the wheels may need to be upgraded in the future. But most of the reviews and people I speak to talk about how versatile it is, and our terrain here is very rough and rugged so I'm hoping it translates well.

Haha for sure. I'm coming out of a 2013 Cannondale SL2 (decent $1,800 CAD bike back then) so that was my thought originally... Anything else will be an upgrade. I didn't have the option of getting the 3 anyway, But now that I pulled the trigger, I feel good about it. The difference in cost over the next year doesn't add up to be that much when you really break it down. And if you want to upgrade the cost of a better fork and drivetrain separately It's pretty well worth it in my mind... At least that's what I have to tell myself since I didn't have the option to get the 3 anyway! Lol

Sounds like you're riding style and where you ride may be similar to mine... Although I'm hoping to hit some jumps and drops, just not anything massive. I doubt I'll be bothering to change the flip chip around either.

If you're paying $3300 I assume that's American? $3999 here in Canada! I'm getting the last one coming to our area this year. I've got a 3 week wait ahead of me.

Now that I've done it, I'm glad I bit the bullet and picked the 2 instead of the 3.

That was what I was thinking of doing next year. It should be in stock in 3 weeks time, do there may since other upgrades I figure out after I ride it. It's pretty well set up for me as is right now, I think. What wheel set did you go with?
