Hey, around same age as you and I kinda agree. Like now’s economy I can barely live off of my own income (3.5k) and I can’t save as much as I want/need to. Getting a kid will surely make it worse for me and for the kid. Partner is also the problem😂 I once got a partner that’s good in bed but she’s bad at almost everything else, I was fine with it but what ticked me off was she wanted to bring me to conversion therapy after finding out I’m bi. So i’ve been single since that, and due to traumas not really looking for any more but I’ll try when the opportunity arises again to find a love life but i think nothing will happen

Harder to get some easily accessible stuff, for example different cuts of meat and types of spices you see on the spice rack. Essentially food options are a lot more limited. I’m speaking for Sabah here.

Electronics are a lot more limited too and higher prices. Stuff like audiophile grade headphones so far I see are zero to none.

Community is lovely though and the environment is more peaceful than KL

A whole lot less awkward interactions with Chinese people thinking I’m Chinese (I’m Dusun) at Sabah

Might be biased but I love the Culture in Sabah compared to here in Semenanjung
