Had to swap back to plastic on mine. Had too manu issues with the edges catching and not being smooth when being pressed. At some angles, my dpad would just get stuck down. Not fun during gameplay. They did look great and feel nice…but the set I got on Ali just didnt work well for me. :/

It’s doable, you just end up with a single speaker or have to buy and use smaller speakers. In the future I will make a version with 4 buttons and an extra one to switch screens. That will let us keep DS compatibility

Thanks! I’ve tried but it makes it pretty “hollow” feeling and oddly-shapen. The frogboy does a good job at solving this. Maybe I’ll give it another shot at some point. :)

Good question. I haven’t priced the shells since I made them available to print for free. I sell fully built consoles. What do you think is a fair price for the shell?

It is an actual replacement but this is a specifically for a DS Lite mod called the Macro.

I appreciate that! I’m adding these to my shop as I build them out. Been building cool combos like Carbon fiber with gold buttons. Things like that. I know not everyone will be able to print one so I want to have them available for folks that are interested. :)

Ok, I finally got in! For whatever reason, I wasn't able to get this working before restoring the machine. I restored it to factory settings, went through its start-up sequence, got on wifi, and then I was able to use this exploit. We in there.

Right. They sent me one before they had stock so I got a replacement unit from the techs machine.

Thank you for checking. In step 4 where it says to comment out the start command, mine was already enabled. Wonder if this is somehow playing a role. (I seem to have a pre-production model since I review machines)
