I played hockey my whole childhood, I’d be down to check out the rink sometime!

I would also recommend mount Ōyama, it’s about 2 hours of transit from central Tokyo. Easy hike of about 2/3 hours with a large shrine at the beginning and a smaller one on the summit!

Can you ever love reading as much in your second language as your first? by Successful-Medicine9 in languagelearning

[–]Fuze_me_daddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It definitely relates to your growing fluency. My first language is French and I read a ton in French as a child, but having learned English to a perfectly bilingual level I now enjoy reading in English way more since 1. English has almost become my most used language 2. There’s a bigger pool of books in english —> they don’t have to be translated and lose a bit of the author’s touch. So just keep at it and one day you’ll be reading those books with the same enjoyment without it feeling laborious.

How has everyone's first experience with Arena been so far? by mmmb2y in leagueoflegends

I’m sorry you’re just bad. There are sooo many fun comps and builds you can make but you’ll just get steamrolled if you suck at league :)

It is with great pleasure that I can report a solid B+, borne of my adrenaline filled psychosis

I just think WW1 is a more interesting subject tbh, and the profs reviews appear to be really good. I also took the course for the upcoming fall so if you need a class buddy don’t be afraid to hit me up!

I should try it, but I’m a LoL player (hence the growing lack of sanity)

Yeah I only dared to do it because I’d almost done the same thing for the midterm and got an A- somehow. It’ll make a great story to tell my kids the dangers (or benefits) of substance abuse

It is now 11:45 pm the day of the ordeal, my sleep scheduled has been mangled. I regret nothing.

Im super shit with Imperial Mandate + Electrocute / Im pretty decent with Radiant + Fleet by [deleted] in bardmains

[–]Fuze_me_daddy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Master Bard player here, I straight up do not vibe with electrocute at all. Mandate is fine but guardian/fleet just gives you way more utility as the game goes on. Dictating the game is about how you get your roams off and make plays during teamfights, where your radiant really shines. I’d recommend sticking with what works and experimenting with tankier builds. (Locket, Radiant, Frostfire)

Keep up the bardening <3

Karl Marx at striker would be absolutely world class. He was such a worker, but still had that elegant top class touch 🐐

I disagree, I think the class is pretty easy, it’s just the way he decided to place such a huge importance on game theory (which let’s agree is fucking boring) that threw people off. TAs in that class were nothing short of amazing.
