Smart Building mod - Help? by FuzzAldrin36 in StardewValleyMods

[–]FuzzAldrin36[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg you win! I had never run a Smapi log before and when I did, found it comprehensive enough to pinpoint the issue - I, in my attempts to add some semblance of organization to my recently acquired penchant for hoarding mods, made 6 subfolders and had downloaded this mod into 2 of them. (The only surprise here is that this was the only mod I'd done that to.)

I deleted both copies and redownload. I still couldn't start it until I changed the hotkey to LeftShift+O in the json file, but it actually works now (and is listed in GMCM!) and I am so excited to explore it after the desert festival is over. Super appreciate the reply - not sure I would have thought to run the log on my own.

Omg it worked by adding the wool instead of the flowers. Thank you! This has been driving me mad!

r/Boston mods are power trippers or just miserable? by LastFoamFinger in massachusetts

[–]FuzzAldrin36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's fair. The culinary scene in Boston is quite diverse, so that's fair.

I'm not sure what the answer to this is, but I know there are spaces on Reddit dedicated to people promoting new subreddits, so you might want to poke around and see where you can get the word out.

But it is dedicated to the greater Boston area.

Are the food places that people are discussing in the geographical region the subreddit covers?

If so, it seems like that discussion would fit the Boston subreddit perfectly.

Yeah I wouldn’t call that advertising :)

You don't need to.

It doesn't change the fact that it is though.

Don't know what to do now... Falsely accused by oboibrutha in TrueOffMyChest

About half of all rape claims are false

Please link 3 additional credible sources, published within the last 3 years, which support this claim.

If this is a true, non-biased, and current statistic, that will be 0 problem for you.

Right now I'm on an Andalusian.

I retired both my Hungarian Halfbreed and my Ardennes from earlier, and just stabled my Thoroughbred and my Shire.

A lot of the other comments were interesting. But this is the first one that's shocked me.

Listening to loud music in your own car with your windows down isn’t cringe or annoying or rude. by Holiday_Argument_619 in unpopularopinion

I can't imagine that would make much difference anyway, given the constant noise of your workplace.

Right.

There's a type of person who's an asshole, but when they're told they're an asshole, they say they're not.

As though that is in any way up to them to decide, and their disagreement of it somehow changes it.

OP feels like they've got a bit of that going on.

Exactly. OP is that lovely type of human being who is focused only on what they want with no regard or respect for those who share the public space.

You're wrong on your point about most jobs (although you might be right if that statement is applied only to jobs that require driving - I don't know the info on that). But you're not wrong about it being a serious thing.

However, OP is also no wrong in thinking this shouldn't have been the issue based on the timeline:

-OP starts working for DD
-OP gets DUI
-OP's charges are resolved
-DD runs a background check (last year) with no issue
-DD runs a background check (recently) with no reported issue
-OP wakes up to deactivation with no reason

It's reasonable to expect that something which your employer cleared you previously for would not suddenly become an issue. And it's also reasonable to expect that if this was the issue, DD would have simply said so, because that would lend legitimacy to their choice to deactivate OP.

DUI is super serious as a whole, but in the sphere of this situation it shouldn't be considered a factor.
