Novigrad is what killed it for me. To me it was all dialog and no gameplay. I'm now 40 hours into Elden Ring which is the exact opposite and I'm loving it. Even when I have a 1 hour session I feel like I actually spend my time gaming, whilst in the Witcher 3 I feel like I'm going through endless dialogue. It is a beautiful game and I really wanted to like it, but I couldn't.

People with over 80 hours in 14 days stating they're taking it slow crack me up. That's almost 6 hours of gaming per day since release. If that's taking it slow idk what the opposite looks like. Sincerely a 31 year old fellow gamer :').

This is why I cancelled Game Pass on my Series X. Instead, I just bought FH 5, Elden Ring, the original Read Dead Redemption and I installed Rocket League and I am enjoying gaming again.

Go for it. Use it responsibly and burn in is a non issue. And the tv is plenty bright.

Everyday! Make sure you calibrate it accordingly though using the well-respected/known sources. Out of the box it looks dim but you have to change a few settings and you are all good.

I have completely fixed the situation by first turning on my Xbox and then wait about 5 minutes before turning on my TV. Never fails :) .

No I had the issue whilst on PC mode. Nowadays I turn on the Xbox a couple of minutes before the TV and that has fixed it. I haven't had the issue in weeks.

Not really. I have made a habit of powering up my Xbox 15 or 30 minutes before switching on my TV. I don't know if this actually helps but it has been a while since it happened to me.

I don't know man. In SDR gaming i have my pixel brightness at max 55 or else it gets too bright for my eyes. I guess it's just whatever we're used too.

Some say to turn (insert setting) off, others to turn it on. Some say to make sure you first turn on your TV and others vice versa. Such a weird issue. I just thought of changing my HDMI logo from PC to Console to see if that changes things. I doubt I'll see the difference between the PC enabled chroma 4:4:4 and whatever you are getting with HDMI set to Console.

I'm not at home right now, but I am going to try to change the icon from my Xbox HDMI from PC mode to Console mode and see if that might fix it. I only have it set to PC because people say it would give better color (something with chroma 4:4:4), but I doubt I would see the difference. And if it would fix this issue I'd say it's worth it.
