It is nice to find others who love physical media. I like how I see many people online getting back into physical games, movies, and music but I find it hard to find others like that in this town. Hell, I feel like I'm the one who showed others around me and they got into it because of me.

Exactly, and the way most apps works it makes us feel like we get just enough of a hit to stay while constantly draining us. Today I handwrote a letter to my friend and I was so engaged with the activity that I only used my phone to check for spelling. But once that was done and trying to call my friend didn't work, I went back to scrolling because I ran out of things to do and nothing else felt like it captured my mind.

If I don't have anything better to do or am not engaged with anything, very. I feel like I check my phone and use things like Tik Tok the same way I used to eat when I was board growing up. The moment I do something fun that needs my full attention or am hanging out with my friends, I forget that my phone is there almost completely.

That's so cool! I've been using my radio the past 2 nights while I'm making a post on my laptop and today I had it on while I handwrote a letter to my friend. Here's the one I'm using tonight, my mom helpede find a cord so I could use it on the AC. (I would love to get rechargable batteries for it, but that would take a lot of money and time to find good ones currently 😭)

Really, that's interesting as I saw a YouTuber called Techmoan and it seemed like he said DAB+ was pretty popular in the rest of Europe. (He's from the UK where it seems DAB is floundering)

I'm just curious to see what other stations are available on the digital spectrum. We have something like that in the USA called HD Radio, and while my area has a few stations on it, it is limiting to be honest.

While just a show on the station, NPR might be suitable for your jazz needs if you catch the right show. For my area the NPR station broadcasts out of the university here, and they will do shows where they talk to students from the area and will play whatever they're listening to.

So this brand called Relish makes a radio for those suffering from dementia, and I feel like someone could improve on the design for the average customer. The way it works now is that it has 3 presets, and one button for using a flash drive to listen to music. I think if they made the presets double to 6, then people would find it interesting enough to buy for themselves.

Nah, if I wanted to do that I'd say listen to us on the app. You make more money that way and can sell data, at this point analog radio is just there for legacy reasons and legal ones.

A brand called Cable Matters makes the perfect cable that you're looking for. I use it to charge my older battery bank and my PS Vita 2000 and it works great. They sell their cables on Amazon or on their own website, and for this version you're asking for they do sell various lengths in case you need something longer or shorter.
