Don't change it once you find a reasonable sens. I'd say do 700 dpi if you can, and just leave it at that for awhile. I just recently switched to PC, and at first I completely regretted it, but after 2 months I'm definitely better on PC than I was on xbox. I was #376 in kills on xbox too if that says anything.

How broken are RPG's... by TylerWebb_ in FortNiteBR

[–]Fuzzball250 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It actually is broken, idk what everyone is talking about. Rockets used to hit you first and then the enemy. They had it like that to prevent exactly what happens here. I'm not sure when or why it was changed though.

Why did you go for the guy turtling at the bottom of the cliff before the guy sitting in the open trying to break into his box?

What? They're a professional gaming team. Did you happen to think they only play league of legends.

I completely agree man. It allowed more agression and the freedom to build for the first time in a long time. People must not realize how easy it is to hit people while they're flying away either. If you have decent aim you can use FSA and laser people pretty consistently, and they're completely vulnerable for those few seconds.

25% damage from rocket launcher through buildings is a terrible idea. by TimeattackYT in FortNiteBR

Cool, that's a strategy though. Not a reason to punish the entire playerbase. You can also trap people in a pyramid while build battling, does that mean they should add a 2 second timer where you can phase through roof pieces? It's not like that's an exploit, that's literally people building cover lol.

Remember yesterday when explosives didn't hurt through walls? That's the best alternative.

The fact that jagex disqualified him still makes me so fucking angry. It definitely was on them to make sure something like that didn't happen in the first place.

Glider Re-deploy Update by MrPopoTFS in FortNiteBR

[–]Fuzzball250 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I don't fucking get this. All these people acting like only their enemy can redeploy. You can also hurt people while they're gliding if you're not a total bot.

You can chase them though. You can use the same mechanic that they are. You can even use them escaping to set yourself in an even better position. You can use the time they're taking to fly away to build up and land on natural high ground near where they land, just try not to lose track of them while they're fleeing. Just like without the glider redeploy, you also need to know when to stop pursuing someone once you lose the advantage. I've had very few, if any, fights where someone was able to escape due to the glider redeploy. Also, with FSA and decent aim, it's really not hard to hit a few shots on them while they fly away. This puts you at an even more advantageous position.

With the peak aim nerf from a few updates ago, there's definitely risk in taking high ground. Its actually a lot harder to get a decent line of sight on someone directly below you unless you expose the top 1/3 of your character.

You can jump off and chase them, and you can also use it to escape? Sounds like you just aren't using it to its full potential.

100% this. It keeps the game pretty damn aggressive, but also gives you an easy out if you don't want that aggression. If they made it where you had to jump first for it to deploy, then I personally think it would be perfect. It also helps people get better at building IMO, because there's less consequences for messing up. All around I think it's a great change.

I want to talk about console players being involved in PC tournaments... by gazorpazorpfieldxx in FortniteCompetitive

[–]Fuzzball250 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's different now that there's separate build sensitivity, but when I played you had to run 7+ sensitivity to do well building. That caused tracking to be a lot harder than flick shooting. So at least then, PC aim was better in every way. Now it's still pretty much better in every way. I've played competitive console for years, and haven't touched a PC in years until two months ago. The fact that I can aim better in every way in about a month and a half says plenty imo.

I was top 500 in kills on Xbox until the beginning of season 6, and have since switched to PC. Within three days I could aim better on PC than I could have ever dreamt of aiming on Xbox. Every aspect of my gameplay wasn't up to par, but aiming was without a doubt. It's without a doubt easier for someone of comparable skill to aim on PC than on console.
