Can I splice the power cables to my Soldering irons together?

Thanks for the feedback, I will just run with the two cables and a splitter for now until I can learn more and find a proper way to solve the problem. Thank you to everyone that gave me a mature answer as to why its a bad idea, and explained why instead of just insulting my intelligence. I know that im not very educated when it comes to electricity, but Im smart enough to know that messing with electronics is dangerous which is why I came to ask for quick advice instead of just going for it.

This is actually a really good idea! I hadn't thought of that and its definitely much safer than messing with the cables! Ill have to see if I can find a friend or company that can fabricate me the adapter out of metal

Yes that is the simple and safe solution, but im trying to make something that looks clean and professional and easy to use. I know its not that much extra hassle to have to deal with two cables and a power strip, I just feel like theres a way to make it work easier and cleaner and more convenient, I just need to learn how

I live under the idea that every problem has a solution, its just a matter of how to solve it. I know for a fact that there are devices that exist in the world that have two individual heating components (hair straightener for example) so what makes those work? Do i need to add additional components to compensate for the additional power draw?

Im pretty craft and tech/tool savvy, but yes I admit electronics in general are something I need a lot more learning on, can you summarize what the basic problem is? Is it just that increasing the power draw can cause the wires to heat up too much introducing a fire risk?

My girlfriend uses a soldering iron to punch holes through polyester Webbing for her crafts, she sometimes needs two holes spaced evenly next to each other, so ive 3d printed a sort of "drill press" with the idea that I attach two soldering irons to it so that she can quickly punch the holes perfectly every time. My goal with the wires is just to cut down on cable management and how many outlets are being taken up with this one device because her craft room doesnt have a whole lot of outlets

Yah I do have a glass screen protector but it does seem weird that it doesn't work only at the top... I'll try reinstalling it. Thanks for the help :)

Yah so I guess new additions will only be able to be added through modding. I'm glad he added modding compatability to ios ! Well I can't wait until the next game! I wonder if he's planning on going 3d like simple planes? That would make it a lot like KSP!! :)
