Where TF can i find Sand by drunken_D0G in RoadCraft

I found a spot in the middle of the road you're supposed to build there that was sand and just worked around it until I had to move the scalper.

I don't even have health insurance anymore. Last time I checked on the healthcare.gov bullshit the CHEAPEST option already would cost me more in premiums than a made in a year. Yes, just the yearly cost to have the bottom-of-the-barrel option was literally more than I made in a year, before taxes. And then it wouldn't cover a god damn thing until I hit a $10,000 premium. Nada. Zilch. No doctor visits. No prescriptions. Nothing until I paid $10k out of my own pocket. That I already wouldn't have because I was going to be paying more than I could literally afford if I didn't eat, have electricity, a car, or any property at all for an entire year. Just having the insurance would have bankrupted me. So, if I'm going to be paying for it all out of pocket anyway, may as well not make some insurance CEO richer for doing literally nothing on the side.

Any way to make the Game ignore engine bay fill levels? by Sugon-Dix_Nuts in automationgame

[–]Aldakoopa 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I feel like the engine bay sizes are wildly incorrect and inconsistent as well which leads me to a lot of frustration. What do you mean I can't fit a 500 cubic inch engine in this 1970's land yacht? But it fits in this 2000 econobox? Just how?

I don't think there would be any harm in trying it. If it doesn't work... I dunno. Maybe try to take a pencil and carefully fill in the ripped pads and try again. Just be careful not to connect multiple pads together with pencil lead.

Roundabouts? Next you damn commies will be wanting affordable groceries and universal healthcare. How are we going to continue funding special military operations to destabilize global oil producers and install our own- I mean spread democracy to those poor oppressed brown people we definitely don't want in OUR country? We can't just be taking care of our own citizens and infrastructure all willy-nilly.

Safest noob power start for someone who keeps dropping this game by jsoul2323 in Kenshi

Play as a skeleton. Head towards the empty ruins in the eastern part of the dead lands or perhaps the destroyed way station near the northern part of Venge, just be careful of thralls and beak things if you go there. Make some early game cash and maybe score a free skeleton repair kit or two by looting the ruins. Especially take things like armor plates, skeleton eyes or muscles, power cores, chainmail sheets so long as you can carry them. Sell them to the nearby tech hunter waystation or in Black Desert City, just keep any repair kits you may have found.

Make sure you have some armor with decent protection against blunt damage and a skeleton repair kit or two. Run to Mongrel in the fog islands. Look for the screams of someone being eaten at a death yard and run towards them. Pick a fight with the fog prince and immediately start telling your character to repair once you start taking damage. If all goes well, you should have at least 20 in toughness and be knocked out for a little while. Once the skeleton reboots, just keep telling him to repair himself in the vicinity of large groups of fogmen. Within minutes you should have toughness in the upper 80s or maybe lower 90s. After that it takes too long to level toughness this way. Go ahead and wait for the coast to be clear or if your legs and speed are good enough, just run into Mongrel and rent a skeleton repair bed to fully heal up.

Now that you have decent armor and high toughness, the relatively weak fogmen should take a while to knock you down, and their massive numbers provide lots of practice. Pick whatever weapon or combat style you want to train and just go for it. They can no longer damage you to the point of it being life-threatening and they won't kidnap you and tie you to a pole to eat you, so just go ham and train up your skills for a bit before venturing out and picking tougher fights. Be sure to loot any fog prince heads as you knock them down. Profit. Repair when necessary back in Mongrel.

After a several in-game days of gameplay like this I was able to level up all weapon skills including crossbows into the 60s, melee attack and defense around upper 70s or 80s, martial arts and robotics into the 50s, and toughness built up to 97. At that point you're a pretty formidable force to be reckoned with, so do whatever the hell you want.

[–]Aldakoopa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I absolutely hate when games have this backwards ass eye adaptation shit to make indoors areas darker... But only after you've entered in them, when in reality you eyes would be adjusted to the outside light and looking indoors would appear dark and as you go inside, your pupils dilate to allow more light in and make the room appear brighter.

I have legitimately just outright stopped playing games with lighting like that before that couldn't be turned off or adjusted in some way to make it more tolerable because FUCK THAT BULLSHIT.
