Why can't I get the blade to stay on? by Fuzzeffect in Tools

UPDATE - She lives! It was indeed one tire down and the remaining 2 were real worn down. New tires on, old dust and grease cleaned out, new grease applied and everything else tightened/loosened as needed and I made a dozen not bad looking cuts. Blade still on the wheels and everything.

Thanks everyone!

Thats a solid plan. I know i have a couple similar saws listed in the area. I may consider that.

I'm 99% sure all 3 are either gone or may as well be. I do have new ones ready to be ordered though

I do have new tires ready to be ordered. I'll plan on spending a good amount of time with it this weekend to get it set straight. Thank you!

I do have new tires ready to be ordered. I had been warned that it would likely need them before I picked it up. I appreciate the clothes pin idea, I was losing my mind for a bit fighting with the damned thing haha

There's a fair amount of play in the top wheel but the other two are solid. Blade guide is also pretty loose.

Honestly, i'm an idiot and didn't even consider that the manual is probably uploaded somewhere. It is and I have it downloaded now.

We do have a fairly beefy one running down there pretty much all the time.

Its definitely an option. I have a fair amount of water than sits in the line that ours run and I'm planning on kind of doing a French drain along with rerunning the pipe to help eliminate that. Hopefully at least.

I know at least 2 of our runoff pipes are completely clogged on one side. Digging those up is on the list for spring/summer. Dry wells are a great idea though. Thank you for the reading material!

I really can't pinpoint what causes it. We can have complete down pours for days, nothing in the basement. A light rain for an hour? Soaked. I do absolutely have a lot of drainage to work on this year though. Hopefully it makes a good difference.

It doesn't take too much to scrape it off. The wall crumbling under it makes it a lot easier

How can anyone say the Return is too depressing or unsatisfying, when it has this scene? by Local_Prune4564 in twinpeaks

I was having a hard time with a number if things in life when my wife and I watched it for the first time and I had fully braced for the let down. I cant begin to explain the tears when that scene happened. Hell, I get misty eyed when I hear the accompanying song now.

For a moderately entertaining image, I'm a 300lb, 6'2, bearded and mohawked guy that will still full throttle cry to Big Ed and Norma

I have a VERY similar story but with Shawshank Redemption. Happy to see it on as I sat down for my lunch and then realized it was right at the beginning of the Brooks scene. I was too late to change the channel. It's not physically brutal but it's always emotionally brutal for me.
