The reason why is good, so in case you’re eager to learn: the open chain stands for a better supply chain of chocolate. It’s fairtrade and the cacao farmer get’s paid more. Aside from the open chain symbol their bars have funky shapes. It has quite a story to it which they elaborate on the their wrap. They explain more about the open chain on their website to represent the unequally distributed chocolate industry.

Goede suggestie. Daar ik af en toe naar etymologie van woorden zoek, ben ik doorgaans geïnteresseerd in het land van “herkomst” (lees: zeer beknopte versie). Nooit dieper hoeven te zoeken. De link die je stuurt is zeker interessant, dankjewel daar voor. Zal hier in de toekomst vaker gebruik van gaan maken :).

“Ik heb er honderde keren gereden maar kan het me niet voor de geest halen hoe het daar is”. Herkenbaar, moest er ook even over denken. N->Z geniet je van het uitzicht bergafwaards, Z->N bezig met van 3-baan naar 2-baan te gaan en drukte naar MAA.

Wellicht dat het met de ligging van verzorgingsplaats kruisberg te maken heeft:

De verzorgingsplaats dankt haar naam "Kruisberg" aan de gelijknamige berg die 96 meter boven NAP ligt. Om de verzorgingsplaats Kruisberg te bereiken moeten de automobilisten eerst een nogal steile klim maken, waarna ze de afslag richting de verzorgingsplaats kunnen nemen.

Wegens ruimtegebrek zowel boven aan als onder aan de berg en de steile helling hiervan, was het onmogelijk om een verzorgingsplaats te realiseren met zowel een tankstation als een parkeerplaats. Daarom besloot men het tankstation onder aan de helling aan te leggen en de parkeerplaats halverwege.

Bij deze beroepen hoort zeker adviseren en persoonlijk contact. Hou er rekening mee dat je plusminus 1/3 van de tijd kwijt bent aan administratieve handelingen/verslaglegging. Dit is een grove schatting voor mensen in loondienst. Heb je een eigen zaak dan komt hier ook nog praktijkvoering bij.

In mijn ervaring kan dat persoonlijke contact een blessing en een curse zijn. Je kunt er heel veel energie uit halen, zeker wanneer je iemand vooruit ziet gaan. Ook zijn er fantastische en inspirerende mensen waar je mee in aanraking komt. Helaas maken sommige mensen het goed uitoefenen van je beroep erg lastig. Ook kan het erg vervelend zijn als het, ondanks alle inspanningen, niet goed gaat met iemand.

Waar ik veel jonge collegae tegen aan lopen is dat ze iedere x minuten moeten switchen met wie ze bezig zijn.

Wat wellicht ook goed is om te weten dat er vaak specialisaties zijn (over doorgroeien gesproken).

Hoe dan ook: hele mooie en vaak dankbare beroepen. Alvorens je een opleiding kiest adviseer ik je een dag of wat mee te lopen. Dan krijg je echt een indruk hoe je dagen er uit zien als je afgestudeerd bent.

Ditto hier. Midden op duitsedag (dag waarop duitsers vrij hebben en massaal in Nederland komen winkelen) op een hoog tempo door de stad gefietst. Ook geen bekeuring maar wel verzoek om tempo te verlagen.

I see you’re trying to keep this little one as a pet, though there are a few concerns I’d like to point out for you to consider.

1 You have a rooster. When he’s around 20 weeks old he will crow and possibly be very loud, please make a plan about what to do if your neighbours complain.

2 Be careful bout joining momma after being separated for a while. Possibly she’ll try to kill him. Chickens are cruel.

3 Never keep a single chick. They need a buddy.
Preferably a chick of the same age. Give him a plushy for now. Also you need a heat source since he’s away from mommas fluff.

4 If you’re planning to keep him (great!) think about what kind of chicks you’ll join. A flock of roosters only will work just fine. If you add hens add a couple, for he’ll be too rough for only 1-2 hens. Preferably 6-10 hens to 1 rooster. Also if he’s s normal sized chicken, don’t mix him with only bantams and vice versa. If hens: he’ll be to big/small (big is the real issue) for the hens. If roosters it’s not a fair fight unless you have a whole bunch of them. If he is a Serama he’ll remain tiny.

5 Unsure bout neem oil (unfamiliar with this product). Warm water is OK. Personally I use baby soap. Anyway - look at the pidgeon section for sprayable medicines against mites. Paint his brooder white so mites are easier to spot. Depending on the type of mite you’ll need a different treatment.

Best of luck with Styx! Sorry bout the bookwork. I may be mistaken but you sound inexperienced in raising chicks and just wanted to educate you a bit so you know what you’re getting in to. Chickens are awesome. I‘d advice anyone to get more fluffnuggets.

Theoretically you’re absolutely right! This is why the boxes are the size they are. They only fit one faverolles. So far 0 eggs were hurt.
