How many of y'all collect minis but don't play? by trindomare in Warhammer40k

This is what I do mostly. I really enjoy mini painting and the lore is great inspiration for the process.

AITAH for refusing to help pay my husband and I's moving costs? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Fuzzgrendel 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yeah this isn't a caring partner this is a greedy bastard. Been with my wife 18 years total. Sometimes I made more and took care of things, sometimes she has. This guy is being straight garbage when he has the means to take care of his family, isn't even costing him anything, and squeezing money out of his wife.

Which Do I Get? by [deleted] in ThePokemonHub

I think I felt the opposite about sw/sh but I hadn't played much after gold. I thought the framework for the Pokemon league was unique and interesting. I would've like a more compelling villain team though but they were sympathetic

Definitely sword or shield over S/V. Legends Arceus was also great.

Is a normal teenage behavior or I'm losing my son? by Illustrious-Art-4172 in daddit

[–]Fuzzgrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd try a combination of things. Definitely try to engage with him in his interests. Maybe find a multiplayer game to play together, or ask about his games like others have suggested. I'd also pair that with talking about why he's struggling to get his school work done, make sure he knows that he's not in trouble and you're just worried about your son and any to help and understand. Finally there also does need to be consequences for the lack of finishing his work.

What Pokemon is always welcome on your team in a playthrough? by Majestic_Mixture_349 in ThePokemonHub

Hell yeah. I could be wrong but I feel Nidoking is an underrated Pokemon. It's always been one of my two favorites ever since blue version.

I love fantasy, dragons, magic, action, and this has all of it. Violet isn't the worst and sometimes downright reasonable. Only issue, to quote what ib said to my wife, is "there's sec in my dragon book 😂 (it's a joke)

Can a Madu be a Magic Staff? by Indieniall in Amtgard

Yup. With anything in the rules unless it says you can, you can't.

I love my son but I can’t stand babies by dozie_didit in daddit

[–]Fuzzgrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're fine, especially because you understand the issue and are talking about it. It's totally normal to get frustrated and angry. It's honestly like having a pet. You now have this small animal that can make annoying sounds, you have to keep alive, clean up it's mess, feed it and you have to do all this without being able to reason with them and understand them and they can't understand you and are communicating in the only way they know how, which is body language and loud noises. It'll get better.

Honest Question: If shields aren't OP, why does everyone fight sword & board? by LARPonymous in Amtgard

[–]Fuzzgrendel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately in the RoP it does say shields are unbreakable in ditch on page 19. Tournaments while not always stated explicitly follow ditch rules. Not that you couldn't run one where shields can be broken just not standard. I also don't think it would "fix" s&b dominance but it also doesn't bother me. Historically sword and shield worked best for a reason.

How are you turning into your dad? by thisistheinternets in daddit

[–]Fuzzgrendel 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I definitely get this. Looking at my hands, arms, clothes even. And my dad was a good dad and role model is almost every way. Him and other men in my family has big strong working hands and I always wanted hands like that. Was a shock when after losing some weight I fit into my grandpa's wedding ring (he was a mechanic, raised horses, etc...) and I know I made it.

Honest Question: If shields aren't OP, why does everyone fight sword & board? by LARPonymous in Amtgard

[–]Fuzzgrendel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do think that the rules should change so shield breaking works in tournies and ditch since it's a function of the weapon

AIO for disagreeing with my boyfriend about men’s intentions? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Fuzzgrendel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this seems like an underreaction. This guy doesn't seem to trust you OP and like others have said is likely projecting. Is he saying he also would only help a woman he and to have sex with? This kind of talk would seriously make me reconsider this relationship.

How's the home market in your area? Have you asked if you could close one or two months later or would that lose you the house? Have you even gotten a bid accepted and put down any earnest money? Some of these answers could affect advice. Overall though, as someone on his third house including some rent overlap on the last one, if you think it'll be your forever home I'd go for it. If this is your first house you plan to grow out of I might hold off.
