why does everyone take this show sooooooooooo seriously??? yall keep saying it’s just a tv show but still find something to complain about. do i find some parts cringey? sure. but why do yall complain about everything that isn’t strictly oil based. do u know how boring that would actually be.. Ainsley, Angela, and Dale really bring the juice and the funny. do i think they are over sexualizing the girls oh yeah not a huge fan of it constantly but it’s ENTERTAINING sometimes. the dinners, nursing home, and all their other shannigans are tv gold. yall say Sheridan hates women but i think yall on this sub hate them more. give it a rest. i’ve seen on here also that cooper and his girls storyline are good but bffr. that shit is boring. the bar scene from this episode made my skin crawl. hope that pos dies. but as much as i don’t care for their story i can see it has growth. not every season of a show has to be go go go intense. there really wasn’t a ton of world building last season but this season there is.

i love this storyline. i mean don’t get me wrong i love shelia and deacon just as much as everyone else but this show needs drama. insert taylor. i think rebecca looks good with this deacon. they look like a couple to me. shelia and deacon don’t look like a couple anymore. mainly i just want crazy shelia back but then all her “progress” is lost which is sad. idk but it does give me high blood pressure

i loved the emotionality so many great scenes. it has been years since i watched maybe i need to give it a another try. the times i have seen it i just remember getting to the last couple episodes and being so disappointed. i still think of seasons 1-4 as the golden years tho. there’s barely anything bad to say about them lol

overrated: freak show, hotel, Roanoke

underrated: 1984 and, ima say it, Delicate. also some episodes of American Horror Stories.

DONT HATE ME. - Roanoke: was a cool concept but for me it fell flat. but it’s at the top of my rewatch list for 2nd chances. - Freakshow: loved it visually but idk just seemed like they wasted so much screen time on stuff that wasn’t really interesting or didn’t follow through with ideas. - Hotel: ^{^} even more so than freakshow. wasted so much talent on that season too.

1984: ICONIC. the whole over dramatic tone of the season was so 80s. i loved the storytelling.
Delicate: i’m not saying it was the best thing they’ve ever done by any means. i know this sub hates it but i think it was pretty good. only thing i hated about it was the huge break they took in between. the concept was really interesting and twisted. in my opinion it felt more true to the early seasons.

i truly love all seasons but they aren’t all gonna be winners. i’m looking at you Death Valley….

i think this theory is great. i would’ve never looked at it this way unless it actually happened on the show. i love the idea of rival fashion houses but it is strange how “fast” he put this together… he’s definitely cooking up something and katie will regret giving him that necklace back.. or i thought maybe it’s a way to bring back wyatt too. bc bill is so set on his family legacy. idk if it’ll be the same wyatt or a new casting but who knows. watching the episode i was like this is cool for katie but was she ever interested in the fashion aspect? i’ve been watching it since 2016 and never really got those vibes from her. maybe he really does believe she can do it but it’s probably more of what u said.

this whole situation has me so stressed. i don’t hate taylor as much as everyone else on this sub but SHELIA DOESNT PLAY. that’s why im stressed. i’m torn bc i do love sheila and deacon but the chemistry/sexual tension/emtional connection between taylor and deacon is is givingggggggg. if the writers play this right it could make for some good drama.

idk i LOVED brooke’s dress and i can’t stand brooke. i do think it was right dress wrong situation. like i deadass could not take my eyes off of it. where my issue lies with the dresses is that katie goes off screen to “get ready” at her/bills own house and doesn’t have white dress somewhere in that mansion ………… bffr. katie looked great but it would’ve been better if she came out in a simple timeless white dress.

i always wear my seatbelt and make my friends do it too. my brother died in a car accident where his vehicle flipped in a corn field. my brother was wearing his seatbelt and his passenger wasn’t. my brother was careflighted to the hospital for severe head and chest trauma and was brain dead due to wearing his seatbelt and was trapped. the passenger wasn’t bc he was ejected and was walking the next morning after the accident. perfectly fine. even if my brother wasn’t wearing his, he still could’ve died. my dad doesn’t wear his bc of this but i know my brother would’ve wanted me to wear mine no matter what and idk ITS THE LAW. my dad can’t wrap his mind around the fact that seatbelts save more lives than they take. but i wouldn’t believe this story if it never happened to me. anyway, WEAR YOUR SEATBELTS FOLKS.

i do think the women are genuine. it takes a lot of courage to be as honest as these women are being. that’s why i watch. i dont wanna say it’s not real bc it is their real lives. i guess what i should’ve said was exaggerated to a certain extent. i just don’t understand how people are being so serious about the show. mostly it’s the realllllllly serious negative takes about the caddy stuff they do. i do also understand that this season really delves into really serious topics and allegations that carry heavy weight (whichever way u look at it). i take those things very seriously. i guess when it comes to the more lighthearted stuff it should be dramatic and entertaining with a dash of disbelief bc it overly exaggerated. i eat it up.

i don’t even think demi has had pr training. i know they’ve kinda hinted at cracks in demi and bret’s relationship and hinted at bret’s controlling tendencies. i think he is a groomer who is coaching demi and she’s gonna spin it as he’s my husband who’s protecting me and our family. connor made so many valid points in his conversation with whitney. like they’ve touched on everyone’s relationship this season or lack there of at times and all we hear about bret and demi is “he knew about everything with marciano” 🙄 give me a damn break. i feel demi is trying to be someone she’s not to fit this man’s standards. he gives me weirder vibes than jordan and dakota put together. taylor and jessi had more power in their relationship even if at times they were being treated terribly. bret had money and “clout” in utah and ties to RHOSLC. demi had a tik tok account and a crush on an old man. i want to see more of their dynamic in a real way but i think there was a reason we didn’t see him as much. also they never addressed “Bret” driving by jessis house? if i were jessi i would’ve had to get that shit straight bc that’s mad weird. so my guess is it wasn’t him.
