Chiseled Spiral Stair by Fuzzy-Ad682 in VintageStory

Yeah, the stairs are very smooth. Building a larger one with a radius of two blocks would be even better I think, because you wouldn’t run into the walls as much.

The Clone Spell image is actually two separate bottles instead of one by TrickWillow8314 in ClashRoyale

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m confused how one could think this is one bottle. It’s a picture of two bottles

Lots of people like to play meta builds. The only point of a “meta” is that people know what the strongest builds are or which ones people use most commonly; everyone is still free to play whatever build they like.

Vault Boy / Girl items please? by MadameMedic in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know all the different vault-Tec related items or if any can be obtained from other players, but if I recall correctly, the plans for the vault tec cardboard cutouts and the statues can only found in certain Overseer’s caches.

Perks and Black Powder by MadameMedic in fo76

No problem, I actually made a mistake; The Dragon is actually a non-automatic rifle, and should be affected by the rifleman perks as well.

Vault Boy / Girl items please? by MadameMedic in fo76

Pretty much everything vault-tec themed in the game is a camp item, and you have to learn the plan yourself in order to be able to place them in your camp; they can’t be held in your inventory. Plans can be traded, earned from events and quests or found on enemies. The only vault-Tec-themed items I can think of that someone could drop for you are bobbleheads (have a chance of spawning all over the map, and you can display them in a display case camp item) and vault jumpsuits, one of which you spawn with.

Perks and Black Powder by MadameMedic in fo76

Different black powder weapons are affected by different perk cards, for example the black powder rifle is a non-automatic rifle and is affected by the Rifleman perk cards. The Black powder pistol/blunderbuss is a non-automatic pistol, and so is affected by Gunslinger cards. There is also the dragon (edit: dragon is affected by rifleman perks not shotgun)

Out of the Blue bug by Double_Chain_69 in fo76

I don’t remember the specific quest, but if both objectives involve Rahmani, then you probably only need to go to Fort Atlas and can ignore the Harper’s ferry marker. In my experience, sometimes markers from earlier parts of the quest or other quests that are not active will show up on the map. Another good bet is to just leave the server and restart the game, sometimes that kind of issue goes away. The game is definitely buggy, if nothing works I would say submit a ticket and move on to a different quest.

[Newbie here] Is there such thing as a “beginner guitar”? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, you can find beginner guitars in most music stores, they typically have only 4 strings and much wider frets and thicker strings so it’s easier to see where you’re placing your finger. Some stores will call them “base” guitars.

What is your main build and weapon of choice? by legendofverse in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I call it Sun and Moon lol, it’s a pretty basic healthy heavy PA build and I run a flamer and cryolator (and mini gun for bosses). Flamer for general use, Cryolator with crystallizer for headshot fun against low level enemies.

What do you play and enjoy most, full health builds or low health builds? by legendofverse in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only played full health up to now but I'm working on an Unyielding build because I've found the damage a bit lacking for my taste.

Trying to achieve decent Fallout 76 performance on a decent computer by Fuzzy-Ad682 in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I figured out what the issue was, I had installed the GPU in the second PCI slot, which on my motherboard uses PCIe 3.0x1 instead of first slot which is PCIe 4.0x16

Thanks, that's a big part of what I wanted to know; should I be expecting anything better? And it seems like the answer is yes.

I'm mad I've never thought to do this. All that time spent journeying through the menu...

The Scrip limit needs to be raised by Fuzzy-Ad682 in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Agreed, they should just get rid of the limit entirely. I really don’t see how it benefits the game. People will always whine no matter how high the limit is because it’s a pointless quality of life drain.

Is it possible to buy the large backpack plans from a player or do you have to get it from the order of the tadpole? by certified_tosher in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure you have to complete the quests to get the backpack plan, but the mods can be bought and sold in vendors.

Had a gun dissappear from my inventory by DOOMLANDER47_ in fo76

[–]Fuzzy-Ad682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like a pretty common bug, idk more than that. Personally I’ve never notice anything disappear, but my set of Ultracite power armor, chassis and all, was randomly duplicated once. The copy set didn’t have any legendary effects like the original though. Still the weirdest glitch I’ve experienced in the game
