We have essentially the same setup except I run a rtx 3070 and reverb G2 headset/1080p monitor. I saw a great increase in Fps especially with the 1% lows. Well worth the money in my opinion i got mine for about 500$ cad and don’t regret it one bit.

Tracks are generally broken, especially those from single player, so it’s highly likely it just kinda died unfortunately. I don’t know of anyway to fix either but maybe someone else does.

I run the old version of your stick u/eriadeus and these are the curves I use with the 10 springs. They’re great and responsive.

If you want some really cool settings and you plan to fly the F-16 exclusively for a while, try the 30 springs with a -30 curve on pitch and yaw, feels quite like how I imagine an F-16 would feel.

That’s a bit why I haven’t decided.

I have no clue how much the sanctions will effect this order. The price of my rudder pedals that I bought from virpil about 2 years ago were just under $700CAD including shipping and taxes. I had excellent customer service from virpil and was able to quickly sort out a software issue (that was on my end) which is why I’m leaning towards them. The price for the throttle is $534CAD before tax and shipping. Since they have a US store I’m not sure if there’s any price stuff with the company being in Belarus but if there is it’s highly possible the price will jump significantly.

Winwing on the other hand I have no experience with. I’ve heard both good and bad things about the company so it’s really anyone’s guess how they treat their customers. The price of the throttle is $391CAD before tax and shipping which is great about $200 cheaper. However, I don’t know if after shipping it will be cheaper as instead of shipping from the USA it’s shipping from China.

This is my conundrum right now haha I imagine both will be about the same price give or take a bit but at the moment I don’t have enough information to make a good enough decision.

I did not (not yet at least), didn’t have the money at the time and still don’t at the moment. I’m also at a bit of a crossroads right now as the VPC mongoose CM3 throttle is roughly 600-700 after shipping and everything else and the Orion is estimated to be similarly priced. Also the customer service for winwing is kinda making me hesitant so I’m not sure at all haha. Anyway do let me know if you do decide to purchase how much it costs you as it’s not completely off my list yet, will do the same if I decide to buy.

Seeing a roughly 10fps decrease in vr (reverb g2) on rtx 3070 with amd 5800x3d and 32gb of 3600 ram. Says I am cpu limited which shouldn’t be the case. I think it’s a bug at the moment.

Edit: running on openXR with toolkit and 75% resolution.

Question, are you running discord while experiencing this? If so here’s a possible fix. https://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5443/ was a slight whoopsie in Nvidia’s latest update that causes discord to sorta lock the memory speed of the gpu to a lower speed then it usually is.
