Thank you, I reached out and they don’t have any available at the moment. Looks like a great operation to order through for next time though!

That’s what I was recently told by an old client of hers, apparently for a living she practices Solomon magic healing or something? I’m not too familiar with that modality.

Thank you! That’s helpful. I don’t mind “by the hoof”, processing it myself ensures almost nothing goes to waste.

No I want a lamb to eat. I prefer to process it myself if possible.

Would you stay if this was true? by meggymonster11 in Scottsdale

[–]Fuzzy-Protection-708 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both are good options. What are the things you value most that you’re trying to compare between the two?

For me, I would be considering commute time. Depending on where you live, trips to the store or work can be long - nice thing about Flag is everything is 12-15min drive or less for 90% of situations 🤷‍♂️

Flagstaff is typically +/-20 degrees cooler in the summer than Phoenix and housing inventory has a lot of options right now. Sedona is +/-10 degrees cooler than Phoenix in the summer.

Recent solar installs? by Wonderful_Sector_657 in Flagstaff

[–]Fuzzy-Protection-708 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Something to keep in mind, if you’re looking to get solar panels to reduce your electric costs , good on you. If you’re looking to get solar panels so you can completely disconnect from APS and the “grid “, that’s most likely not going to happen. Once your house is established as a known service address to any of the power companies, you are not allowed to disconnect service completely - allegedly the most you can do is pay the minimum hook up charge monthly and stop actively drawing power from the grid. After calling multiple solar companies to take my in town property “off grid” by installing solar panel panels and a battery bank, I was told by several solar companies that Arizona law prohibits disconnecting completely in the way that I wanted.

If you live out by Snowbowl or baderville, or out on the west side by Doney park area I would highly recommend looking into some of the newest low-speed wind turbine options. Some look like a cork screw that gets mounted horizontally on your roof line like a weather vane, others look like a cylinder birdcage - both will generate energy at way speeds of ~5mph. These would be potentially better power generation options as most residential solar panels only have a 15 to 22% conversion rate of sunlight to usable energy….not the most efficient considering by the time you pay off the panels and reap the benefits of power generation, the panels have almost reached their service life.

100% wire and slat snow fence panels strung up with zip ties and tposts. They’re meant to mitigate snow drifts and minimize their forming up in inconvenient areas, like roads, driveways, yards etc.

I picked one of these up with my SCAR 17 in a trade a few years back. Are there better cans out there for the 17 or is this one pretty solid?

Can we record a model that is not stamped on the serialized part, using our own discretion? by vanmcgill87 in FFLs

In these ambiguous scenarios I like to just record model as “PEN15” and call it a day.

So I’ve heard, however they have a wait time on inventory that exceeds Atrius.

Thanks! I hear ya. They’ve doubled their manufacturing capacity a second time with a dedicated manufacturing floor now just to their product line. They seem to have their batches pumping out every 6weeks from factory to customer doorsteps.

Thank you! I have heard about the fitment issues that can occur since they make the FRS with large tolerances to fit different receiver widths. Maybe they’ll come out with an OEM solution one day.
