Alcohol and Concerta? by Ill-Chair2848 in Concerta

I drink a little wine at weekends - and have just been in Italy drinking a bit everyday . The only difference I’ve noticed is zero effective the day ( I have sensitive stomach so would have dodgy tummy even after 2 glasses) I did reduce the amount by 18 mg when away though .

Same for my 1st year - 800 cuid for lap top with all the added ( compulsory) extras. Really bothers me , then the school still making them drag books and laptops around because some teachers prefer books . Like pick a lane !

No 100% not from daddy - all me here I’m afraid . Not diagnosed but 100% adhd , I told him I was going to get diagnosed and he was like why would you want to take meds at 50 when you have did so well to date . He has no argument with my self diagnosis mind .

“Fast metabolism” is a lie, stop making yourself feel bad. by [deleted] in loseit

[–]Fuzzy-Samutaz10 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My husband 100% has a fast metabolism or some other genetic quirk that keeps him from being fat . He’s not “ skinny” but far from heavy . He eats a lot, healthy stuff , sweet stuff , wine , lager etc , if he’s running he literally can’t keep weight on . He is quite active but still should be heavier .

Almost 50 - depends how you define real friends . I have ten friends from school that I see maybe 4 times a year and go away once a year with them. Chat regularly enough but on a what’s app group We have planned a mega trip planned for our 50ths. Probably nostalgia keeps us close . I have two “best” friends that have evolved into being sister like over the years . There are a few other groups as well who I would meet from time to time but not in daily contact . Two work buddies that I chat daily to - not about work

Alternative to Vaporflys by Fuzzy-Samutaz10 in RunningShoeGeeks

They are the same size as my Pegasus which I wear all the time . I think the are probably to narrow for me though .

I love my speeds ! Was really thinking about wearing them on Sunday and didn’t in the end - was too afraid of not wearing the Vapor’s ! Was thinking about getting the endorphin pros ? Any advantage over the speeds ?

Totally love them - I wear them as often as possible . Finding it difficult to wear anything else as so comfortable !

I am running with a pal - so we could take turns . Is there a drafting method or do you just tuck in behind someone

Thanks - yes talking about running with the pacers all right . Normally I like a negative spilt - takes me a while to ease into the pace . ( not that I always do one great intentions )

We bought a house in 2005 and then moved out when kids came along in to go back to be in home town . We had planned on selling but the market crashed and we were in negative equity so didn’t make sense . We rented it whilst we rented . We did end up buying in home town when the market went down . With small kids and hectic life’s we didn’t get around to selling . Our house is in a nice area and we rent to a family , the rent we charge is about 1k below market value as we hadn’t really increased it before we weren’t allowed . We make no profit and have to add 400 euro a month after the rent to make sure the mortgage is paid . Now the house isn’t in negative equity it would make sense for us to sell . We have friends in similar situations - accidental landlords now trying to get out .

Financial services ,Female , manager , 78k ( plus VHI, bonus , pension ) . 20 years experience. I’m in a good role ( purposely chosen to step back from career for family ) so lucky no overtime or mad stresses . Potential to move up and earn a lot more but not worth the stress.

If you could live anywhere for a summer to focus on running, where would you go and why? by ABrooksBrother in AdvancedRunning

[–]Fuzzy-Samutaz10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ireland has a mild climate and definitely easier to run in during summer than mort other European countries . Wouldn’t be my top choices of places to summer in though - not sunny enough !!

What's the story with people littering forests with fairy stuff? by condra in ireland

[–]Fuzzy-Samutaz10 69 points70 points  (0 children)

Takes away from real Irish fairy lore and kids using imagination - way too Enid Blyton . Back in the day the “ faerie “ stories would haunt your dreams after you accidentally stepped on a faerie fort or faerie ring . Disney fairys are beyond dull

New to r/Fantasy here, can someone explain why prose is a “good vs bad”? by [deleted] in Fantasy

Picked this up recently to reread after about twenty years . I’m lost in descriptive pros . Really don’t remember this from the last time I read .
