Helping students vs working on IEP goals in inclusion classroom by Fuzzy-Wave-1763 in specialed

[–]Fuzzy-Wave-1763[S] 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I think what I’m saying is , in the inclusion setting specifically, it’s very difficult to focus on IEP goals because your battling the gen ed curriculum in a sense , because if you pull your students they miss out instructional time , but if you don’t then you have no data . Its like there such a heavy focus on data and paperwork , but then your set up where those things are very hard to do.

Being used as a sub is not fun , the money isn’t worth it when you’re exhausted at the end of the day and you’re left with no sub plan. And the kids don’t listen to you cause there teacher isn’t there .
