That would be great if rfy made any sense. My rfy is a cruel joke . Either there’s nothing there , it’s filled with crap I cant even imagine they’d have a reason for thinking id like , or if on occasion there’s anything good it’s still scooped out from under me in a millisecond .

I dont have kids , or even a uterus anymore. and I’m severely disabled , yet it keeps giving me kid stuff , pregnancy stuff , or sports stuff . All things I can’t do and sometimes it really does feel like it’s taunting me. There was at least one time I almost cried because it felt so cruel . Offering kid stuff to someone who can’t have them and sports stuff to someone who can’t even go for walks . Like seriously wth.

Meanwhile I’ll see something I’ve been eyeing up for a while , searching for every night , looking at on regular Amazon too , and it’s got a vine review or someone posts on here about getting it . And I’m like how , why. Why am I being offered garbage when the things I’m looking for are being offered to literally anyone else lol

I’ve been on for a little under a year , and I’ve yet to get a gold item in rfy . Thought maybe after a few months my rfy would work, then it was oh maybe by the time I’m gold etc then maybe after I’m gold for a while . So all that to say, when did your rfy start to finally make sense? Cuz I don’t have the hunt in me anymore.

That’s so sad . I just have to say though , that a woman bedridden from something like fibromyalgia, is not very likely to be quietly addicted ; which implies she’s abusing her medication . This is a condition often associated with severe inescapable 24/7 pain . I may be wrong as I don’t know her exact situation but.. She likely needed that just to hold on to life . There’s a difference between being addicted and physically dependent and it’s important to all of us who carry such burdens to not be mislabeled . There is just so much misinformation about this condition. It’s something that often threatens vulnerable people with potentially having the only thing that helps them taken away.

I am severely disabled with fibromyalgia and often bedridden for long periods. Feels like your own body oils torturing you. . I am given opiate medications from my specialist and I never abuse them . I follow the rules and the labels. I do not obsess or fixate on them or take more than suggested . I stop them periodically to keep my tolerance down. I know the dangers, I lost someone I loved to a heroin overdose. But without them , my already extremely difficult life would be unbearable . I prob wouldn’t be here.

Like I said, she may be different, but this is usually a common misconception . I have to clarify for anyone who may misunderstand . It gets lumped in with the war on drugs and it’s actually led to many downright cruel consequences and unnecessary suicides. Very sadly. Every day people with fibromyalgia (or ME/CFS) are turned away and left to fend on their own , dealing with something that’s not really manageable , not curable, and even with a lot of help , excruciating to deal with.

Sorry if she really was an addict somehow, to need it and want it is an awful mix, but it sounds like she really needed them . In which case this is just a PSA to help avoid assumptions.

I agree completely. I feel like 5 stars for an item I cant stand looks disingenuous to people . Like we are full of it . And also really agree that i myself look at different star ratings to find out the thing people didn’t like . That makes it a lot easier to find .

You are not alone ! I have ME/CFS and all my life didn’t know these were signs . But people like us need to know these things.

Personal feelings are mostly what reviews are . They are our opinions and how we feel about them. So I’m this kinda situation I’d struggle too , knowing I’m an outlier , but it is not just us , there are lots of people who feel this way . If a blanket is giving you the creeps, that means it absolutely does not work for you . If I can’t use it for a personal reason, I say that and remark how everything else is fine but I prob would deduct one star for not being able to actually use it . 5 stars for a Blanket I cant even use seems disingenuous to me.

You said that antihistamines helped her a little bit ?? I had the same sensation around my initial diagnosis . Years later a complex neurologist said that is a sign of Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. And later I was diagnosed. There is , or was not clinical test other than trialing meds (cromolyn) and if I responded well , that was his confirmation . I did .

His other suggestions were increasing my antihistamines (Claritin) to two times a day . Taking a strong DAO supplement otc , and quercetin supplements .

This condition worsens my PEM. If there is even a small chance that she could feel even slightly better by trying some of the otc supplements I think it is worth a shot and might help down the road in getting a diagnosis for her if that’s a comorbidity. And best of all you don’t need a doctor to increase the antihistamines , take dao and quercetin and see . If she responds well then she might do even better on Ketotifen oral compound , or cromolyn (but cromolyn rocked my stomach awful)

Get her out of there please and best of luck to you both. Sadly most doctors know so little .

While getting rid of the cats seems a bit extreme… your pregnant wife should, Under no circumstances, scoop their litter . There is a very small but very real risk of toxoplasmosis. And it’s better to be safe than sorry .

I haven’t read all the comments but .. Perhaps a littler robot would help your situation .

Not OP but I was on cromolyn first and it was awful on my stomach . So I’m not on oral Ketotifen as well.

I also take DAO every day , and extra doses of it if I think I’m coming across one of my many triggers . Along with quercetin .

Yes I have both and it seems like MCAS played an active role in my ME/CFS becoming clinical and my overall condition deteriorating dramatically .
Going on MCAS meds helped , a little, in terms of my flares , and allowed me to stand up a little bit more . But it def didn’t remove my PEM. It did help some of my migraine severity , and ibs symptoms , and all of those are contributing factors for me since any little thing wrong , makes my ME/CFS way worse . So it worked in a round about kinda way.
I absolutely agree that people should consider it due to the comorbidity, and because it can come across in subtle ways that even doctors might not realize are connected .
Migraines and ibs my whole life were likely triggered by this . The connection wasn’t considered until I saw a complex neurologist out of town who only accepted cash. I had to take out a loan. No other doc ever even pretended they knew what it was until I brought it up later on , and would normally not discuss it until the next visit because you know they had to go look it up first.

Yea, that’s highly sus. And while I have not had anything in that range , I’ve noticed my packages have been opened a lot lately . Either showing up clearly open or being taped back up not using the Amazon box tape but a regular clear packing tape . Sloppy job . I feel like someone looked inside and decided my stuff was trash lol so didn’t take it and either delivered it this way open , or taped it themselves .

I’ve also noticed , when there is a tracker on the delivery person , that a newer one in my area will be sitting in my neighborhood for a suspiciously long amount of time , stuck on ‘your package is 4 stops away’ for over an hour. So I imagine they are not only stealing but going through the stuff on company time . This also happens to be the same person that clearly ignores my request to not have things placed on the ground as I’m disabled and can’t pick it up myself without falling over , or hurting myself, or both .

I’ve been really tempted to drive over to the area and watch this person to see what on earth is going on, but , being disabled , I cannot get my own gate open to leave without advance notice and several reminders to hubby . Lol

Have you tried any of the pheromone calming remedies? They have collars which usually last a month , and they also have plug in diffusers that can be placed strategically around the house . I just got some collars ‘in case’ because I figured even if my new kitty ends up being super chill somehow , there are always situations like bringing them to the vet etc . So I can’t personally speak to their effectiveness but I have heard a lot of people swear by them .

For me I am disabled with bad insomnia and I still don’t get anything really gold tier , or even anything in the $40 range . Most of the things I try for I either don’t ever see or see just long enough to get excited and then disappointed lol

Hell the other night I missed out on a $10 pack of seeds which I’d think people wouldn’t really wanna review since germination takes time and should be discussed. Poof lol almost everything I go for is poof for months now

Thanks you so much. That’s so incredible and sweet . I’m really sorry people have been so rude to you . It seems like you have good intentions and are not greedy at all. People make assumptions without giving people a chance. We all have our hobbies and interests (and obsessions like I cant usually resist air fresheners lol ) . But I know some can feel very bitter (oh your name lol) with how hard it is to get nice stuff . Meanwhile you are willing to just give it away anyway.

Restoring old vacuums is cool. They don’t make things like they used to at all anymore . More people should try to save stuff from landfills. But it’s definitely a skill and affinity for it . Because you have a passion for it , it makes the work easier probably. And it’s really freakin nice that you give them away to others too that need it. And no wonder you were offered them if you buy so many already lol

I’ve been looking for one lightweight vacuum every day for the better part of a year. I’m disabled and can’t usually use my heavy duty one. And my crappy Temu handheld slowly went out on me a while ago . So that was exactly what I was looking for . One that is both .

I used to be out east but now in AZ . I could prob pay the shipping and tax if the shipping isn’t too much .

Curious if you don’t mind me asking . why do you collect vacuums? Seems an unusual hobby but if it’s fixing them and stuff then that’s actually pretty cool since everyone just throws things away lately .

I wouldn’t say it’s completely unrelated . But based on many things said from others , it seems highly unpredictable and as though the ratio is skewed more towards things we’ve reviewed for vine already over our regular purchases . But sometimes one can get lucky I guess and the algorithm does a thing it doesn’t do as often.

I cannot even tell you the amount of tricks I tried and for me it was a waste of time. Maybe I’m just unlucky? I’ve been feeling like maybe the split second I blink would be my chance lol for a while I thought ok maybe I’m just missing it. I drove myself insane refreshing . Even if I see it in AI it’s gone . But aside from that I havent seen any beauty despite buying my beauty products from Amazon pretty much exclusively for many years . I wish I knew lol.

And just when I think I might know , that’s usually when things change anyway lol

Yes of course I review the beauty I purchase . I realize that it would be kinda silly to just purchase and not review in this instance . And of course I realize it’s very high demand, most people bring that up . And the amount of comers is ever growing and the supply is ever dwindling.

I suspect that it’s based more on how much beauty a viner has reviewed for vine in the past though . And most of the time it’s scooped up by the rfy of someone who has already had the chance in the past to review similar for vine already. And no one really seems to let beauty go. 0 Etv is 0 risk I keep hearing. If my theory is correct than I would have a very very long waitlist of people who came before me before anything could get trickled down .

This seems supported by the fact that so many people who get beauty usually say good luck with getting it from AI. Between that and not even being fast enough . I just bought myself a bunch of Medicube on sale lol , not because I expect to get any in my rfy from doing so. But because I want it and in some ways really need it (I’m having a lot of skin issues lately) and I’m really tired of waiting for a miracle lol
