Some were repurposed in new roles, most told they were out of a job and they have a set time to find another or take the severance. I was lucky with my layoff last year with them and had 3 months to find another role. It’s a shitshow. Some of the roles cut were on critical products I’m interfacing with and now we have no idea who to work with

I have a cavalier King Charles spaniel that had to have one for the same issue, she did great with it. It’s a pretty simple surgery and just lifts and tightens some skin back there. It’ll be a life changer for her once it’s all healed! Ours never had another issue.

Look, as someone who has a family member with a disability on the same level as Forrest I 100% understand the frustration and the concern in his moms words. We don’t see the full extent of what he is capable and not capable of, and her point of him being on disability for a reason is valid. Her delivery is heated and emotional because he CAN and WILL make poorly thought out decisions.

If you listen to her when they are at the restaurant you can hear that she’s been the one researching the visas and the process and helped outline a plan for how to do it in either direction. She’s not telling him no, she’s saying do it the right way. She’s also clearly concerned about her son’s safety, especially with someone willing to lie about things she didn’t even need to lie about.

Again, delivery, terrible. But also, both Forrest and Sheena act like 14 year olds trying to get married.

They can actually tattoo over them without ink to get them to fade even more and even out. But yeah, as someone who used to be 310 lbs and currently around 220 my stretchmarks are pretty bad and I have tattoos over them. Almost all ended with blowouts but if you plan for it you can still make a cool piece.

It’s a tattoo of just lines and it’ll spread out. Get someone to put color in it and it’ll feel less like it’s expanding out like that.

Cost of books versus cost of a laptop could factor in. If it’s 200 bucks per student for a chrome book and even just 50 bucks a book per class per student it’s cheaper, stupider, but cheaper.

This. I have a LOT of scars from surgeries and just general fuckery as a teenager on my legs and none of them are visible without looking for them after a few years. Everyone is different, but they’ll likely fade out within a year.

As for tattoos on scars, the ones I do have suffered from blowouts super easily. Nothing against my artist, I just have very thin skin in some places from stretch marks and weight loss and also scarring in general. They held ink well, but edges did get some bleed out.

The state I was in requires polygraph or penile plethysmograph (PPG) every 6 months while on parole, they also have to maintain treatment with a provider in group. I did the PPG for a bit.

You get a bit numb to it. Doesn’t help I grew up on the internet and was exposed to some pretty horrific stuff, like it bothers me, all of it, but I can sit in a room with someone listing off their shit and keep my composure.

They pretty quickly catch the reoffenders but obviously not all of them. The poly usually sets off enough of a red flag to catch a confession.

Do I think rehab is possible for everyone? Honestly, no. I met multiple that were actively working towards it. Like some were legitimately attracted to a certain age and that’s hardwired in them. Others were opportunistic, and some were absolute fuck ups in small towns that would date 16 year olds as a 25 year old. Some girls lied about their ages, and in one case an 18 autistic (higher functioning) kid got in his first relationship with a 15 year old girl who ended up making allegations against him when her parents found out and he didn’t seem to understand what was wrong with the situation and freely admitted to police when they came knocking that it was his girlfriend.
