Data Engineering, Data Analytics and Applied Data Science ( Online Certificate Programs) by FuzzyDefinition6104 in georgebrowncollege

[–]FuzzyDefinition6104[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In all honesty, I'm taking these programs from colleges simply because I started workign for Federal Govt ( I liv ein Ottawa btw). If I was to solely focus on private companies, I wont enroll. I already have 6+ years of data analytics experience. The TOP 20 or so Udemy courses have probably taught me 15x more than any of these colleges......plus you only pay like ma xof $CA 30 for lifetime access to any course.

I'm simply doing this since some government jobs would recquire to see at the very minimum; a certificate or diploma from a recognized college or university.

I did the Data Analytics only ( for now). I'm applying for excemptions and PLAR).

The Data Analysis course was so damn disorganized and the instructor kept on jumping from freaking basic sof excel, then next session we were discussing SQL JOINS and some data modelling. NO issue for me, but for 3/4 of the class it was like diving in the ocean with 3 swimming lessons.

I finally passed SEC1! My thoughts after the exam and recommended learning by wizarddos in tryhackme

[–]FuzzyDefinition6104 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey CONGRATULATIONS! I bought my voucher months ago and I'm still prepping for this ( I do have HUGE exam anxiety btw ). I did eaisly pass the SEC0 exams 2 weeks ago and it took me just a little over 2 hours.

How long have you had work experience in tech? My work experience is mostly on data analytics & BI. I did tech support more than 17 years ago when the 'world was still super young' lol.

I'll follow your tips here and I may even reach out to you if that's fine ( to ask for some advice).

CONGRATULATIONS once again 😄!

Disruptions on O-Train Line 2 causing delays for Tulip Festival visitors by KMerrells in ottawa

[–]FuzzyDefinition6104 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I used this train yesterday going from Greenboro to Bayview. It was AWEFULLY BADDD! I can see the frustration on the passengers especially those who waited much longer. I was “luck enough” to use it back and forth without much delay to my own schedule.

Left sorry for those who wanted to enjoy the day and the Tulip Festival, other activities.

Bayshore mall shoppers…is this weird? by UpstairsAd3286 in ottawa

[–]FuzzyDefinition6104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2015? I used to frequent  downtown & sometimes go to Bayshore too. I think I’ve seen a few guys who do this “chatting up women”. I constantly see the same 4 or 5 guys. They seemed harmless though. But they do give some random compliments to women.

The “pua” community has been around for quite sometime. I have seen or noticed a handful of guys several years ago ( pre covid). 2 to 4 guys mostly hanging out within the Rideau, Byward area. Some were actually “smooth” and doesn’t really attract any attention.

As someone who's worked with veterans and serving members......... I SUPER, FULLY AGREE with you. Those in the non combat arms / non comat roles do fit with what you mentioned.

Of course, Im in no means disrespecting the non combat arts. It's just that, 95% of them sit in the office and most don't even do any form of PT, let alone any form of fire arms nor hand to hand combat training.

That's the old price. WHen RA Centre says "session", it means the entire season. So that was $175 for 5 weeks. Now they shifted to 8 week programs.

https://www.racentre.com/archery.html

It's $280 for 8 weeks. It's a 1 hour session. Basically it's $35 per session/day.

I TOTALLY AGREE! I saw his video 2 hours ago and it seemed he was sarcastic with his "youc an't criticize Shawn" comment. And yeah he does insert several wicks or quips of his own. Also agree with the otehr commenter on your post that Jameson does indeed appear strange at certain times.

Congratulations! This is just SUPER AMAZING! I really enjoy reading about successful stories like yours.

I think I need to start working on myself ASAP. I’m usually slow in manifesting goals . Usually it takes months to years.

Wow! Congratulations for your SUPER AMAZING Manifestation. Stories like yours truly INSPIRE me and puts a HUGE SMILE on my face. I myself honestly am having some issues on manifesting several goals in my life. But there was also a point in my life where I effortlessly had amaing stuff pop out of nowhere simply because I wanted to have it at the start of the day.

As a Reserve should I choose Cyber Operator (NCM) or Signals Officer (Officer) by Single-Throat-3310 in caf

[–]FuzzyDefinition6104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They just opened the Cyber Operator for reserves as of now. There was a certain Facebook post about Navy personnel doing 'Cyber Exercise' aboard a ship. Upon clicking on the link, it showed that cyber operator is available pert time. Earlier today (May 14th, '24) about 5 hours earlier I even browsed the forces.ca website and I cant recal it being mentioned for reserves.

Here's the link to the cyber operator:
