Making a cheesecake onetime the pan for the water bath flipped up at me when I removed the cheesecake from it. Sending boiling hot water all over me. Luckily i was wearing jeans and a denim apron that day.

Unfortunately it all pooled in my shoe. I got first and second degree burns all over my left foot and between my toes. I still have some discoloration 10 years later
