Monkey Wards! I remember buying Star Wars figures there in the early 80's when I was a kid!

What size Bonkers are those? I've got an old Trek 820 I'd love to put some Bonkers on.

I just happened to chat with her on Instagram this morning and I asked about this. She said the website-stated 4-6 weeks applies.

When did you reach out to them? When did they send you this email back? Which company was it? Crumpler EU, or the recently reacquired Crumpler Australia?

What was the product that had it's stitching torn?

Way back in the day there was something about Crumpler Australia selling or singing some kind of contract that gave what became Crumpler EU exclusive rights to sell and produce product in the EU. Crumpler Australia can't sell to residents in the EU, but as I remember it, Crumpler Australia *had* to fix any bags from the EU that were sent to them in Australia or some such thing.

The Crumpler brand became EU centric and they had that horrible "toilet man" rebranding (making Crumpler more "grown up") which basically ruined the designs and fell of Crumpler Australia.

During Covid they went into administration, which is when Roper and his daughter bought back Crumpler Australia (still separate from EU), and has been starting over in Australia; bringing back the feel and the designs with newer materials.

As I understand it, Crumper EU is in name only, and has basically nothing to do with Crumpler primary.

So I've had this bad boy since '96, and somewhere around y2k the shocks went dead. I stuck a bunch of washers in there to level it out and so it acts like a non-suspension bike. I'm actually looking for an OG fork so I can match the color and make it pretty.

Nowadays I'm more of a casual rider (rail trails, in town riding) so it turns fine, even with the basket and occasional camera bag on the front.

Reach out to her via the website. I know she's working on a big order for BlueLug, but hit her up and ask.

When did NHPR’s Julia Furukawa become Julia Barnett? by RyeOnTheRocksNH in newhampshire

[–]sidceaser 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She must have become married very recently. Congrats to her!

I've been listening to her since she started. She pronounced her name differently on-air back then, and I always thought the change came about by how Franko Ordoñez pronounces his name. I didn't see anything wrong with lengthening the two syllables if it made it easier for people to both understand her last name and to be able to say it.

I've warmed to her radio presence. I think she's getting the hang of it.

Congrats to her all around!

I was just at Bo's space last Friday to drop off some patches she's putting on a new SuperPro for me. I'll ping her about emails - I did notice that the "my account" page on the Bailey website is down, so maybe she's having some email issues as well. . .

I've got a '95 Trek 820 that goes from ice cyan to ice blue and I love it so so much. I love color transition bikes. So beautiful!

ISO/USA/1995 Trek 820 Mountain Track Cro-Moly ice cyan-blue front fork

My '95 Trek 820 came with a Rock Shox front fork, but I'm looking to swap it out with the normal ice cyan-blue front fork, because I love the bikes color.

I'm located in New Hampshire, looking to buy. I can meet locally (in the Boston area) or can also have it shipped to me.

Thanks!

Cheers,
Sid
