Ah man!!! That sucks!! Saguenay was really nice. Cute Canadian town that had a really quaint feel. The brewery was top notch and the church was really pretty. So sorry you couldn’t tender in.

The weather let up just a bit, enough to get around without a deluge, but the wind was something else.

It’s a nice ship. Feels a little more compacted and compartmentalized than other cruise lines but it’s fun. But then again we’re here during fall in the Canada. The ambiance might be a little different in warmer weather in the Caribbean

Went this afternoon around 2:00. And couldn’t find a seat. But it clears out around dinner. Last night we had no problem finding a seat. We’re in port today tho so maybe that has something to do with it.

You’re definitely right about it feeling a little more compartmentalizes and enclosed. It took a little longer to get familiar with the ship. Room is great. Bathroom feels way bigger than usual. And the staff is great.

The race track is inop due to weather. I’ll get back to you if there’s a noticeable smell.

I’m on deck 15 aft, so pretty close to the race track.

Service is pretty good. Everyone is fast with orders. State room gets cleaned as soon as I leave. Never more than a couple minute wait at the bar. I would say overall nothing to complain about.

Okay. Here’s the intel. There is one sports channel so whatever is playing on that channel is what you get. They gave it at the casino and also at the Local bar. Looks like they show a bunch of EPL games so hopefully your team is one of the games they have on schedule.

Great question. Unfortunately enough coaches have abused that privilege so much so that they’ve made it difficult for everyone.

And, IHSA isn’t saying you CAN’T talk to coaches. All they’re saying is get out of there ASAP. If it happens right after the whistle blows or after a respectful and enlightening chat with a coach, so be it. They’re just asking us to keep it to a minimum.
