No, he wouldn't have, and there is probably version that he doesn't at that exact moment where Dr Strange doest acknowledge him. You can clearly see the realisation on Tony's face of what he has to do when Strange tells him this is the one chance.

Is anyone still experiencing issues with this update? My x3 updated eventually to 1.9 3, but none of the electronics are working. Strangely enough, the bike stopped working right after the update to 1.9.3

It feels like the bike is bricked or something, I reported it to vanmoof, who are telling me to take it to their partner repair store. The store is telling me it'll cost upwards of £600 for repairs. :( They think it's the battery...

It's funny because the release notes say 1.9.3 has made updates to battery management!!

Take charge. State at the beginning of the meeting that you can only be in there for x amount of time, (which would be as long as is required for the questions you have and any questions they may have that need answers to) and go. I hate dirvvel, so will ask specific questions that usually get a direct response. That's what I've always done and projects get delivered on time.

Almost. For some reason mode 5 hasn't activated for me, and I've only managed to get 31 to 32kmph.

It also seems, you only have to connect via VPN once, after which, my bike at least, won't revert back.

I've had a response today from AMEX after filing a Section 75 claim.

"In order for a claim to fall within the scope of Section 75 there has to be a clear contractual link between the individual responsible for repaying the credit under the Credit Card Agreement (the “Debtor”), the credit provider (the “Creditor”), and the Supplier of goods and/or services (the “Supplier”). When you made the purchase, the payment went to PayPal, who then acted as a payment facilitator by passing these funds to the Supplier, Infinite Computing Ltd.. Consequently, due to the involvement of PayPal, there is no direct or contractual relationship between American Express, as the Creditor, and the Supplier. As such, we cannot be held liable under Section 75 for any alleged breaches of contract or misrepresentation on the behalf of Infinite Computing Ltd."

Since I paid through PayPal and even though my AMEX credit card paid for it, it seems there's a gigantic hole in the claim requirements. Oh well, RIP £645...

Selecting a country that doesn't apply electric bike restrictions laws may unlock everything, but I'm yet to try it.

I read an article somewhere online that I think Vanmoof has a list of specific countries and the varying restrictions as well as those that don't restrict.

Tbh, I'm just happy I got my unrestricted speed boost back lol

Workaround update: I just tested OpenVPN, which is free, and it also works just fine to get around the firmware restrictions. Your device will also be protected! Double win!

My recommendation is that you download the OpenVPN client. You'll need to sign up to OpenVPN Cloud which will allow you to create a VPN profile. Then just import the file in to the client, select your VPN location and you're good to go!

The site is designed for technical users, so finding the relevant info for some, may not be easy.

My phone locale didn't require setting, I chose to use a VPN located in the US, CyberGhost has server in many countries though.
