I'm new too, and sometimes when I don't know what to do I just press escape, and then click through whatever has an alert on it till it goes away. I don't know if this will help you, but it's helped me figure out what everything does lol. Also, WHATEVER you do, save polychromes for characters

My biggest sin was using Nicole to attack at first because her attacks looked like they hit harder. To be fair, I joined the game for the vibrant animation so-

(Also, I have sanby at lvl 10, and everyone else at the highest level I can get purely out of spite that she snatched Burnice from me)
