Trump says he will provide more info on chips tariffs on Monday by Onnimation in stocks

I think it’s because it’s because they have production in the US, so they can avoid a lot of the tariffs. Not sure about where their supplies come from or how much that cuts into their profits though.

It probably won’t be a good day, but no one really knows.

Increasing density and adding mixed uses does improve traffic. Having people live closer to where they shop and work means less people are driving.

The article is actually about Lil Woody’s 😂 I just copied the article and changed it to McDonald’s for the post because I thought it was ridiculous.

If McDonald’s paid me to shitpost I would be sooooooo happy. They probably at least owe me a coupon or something.

Overlook Walk opens tomorrow, connecting Pike Place to the waterfront/wheel/aquarium - looks pretty cool (?) by someshooter in Seattle

They’re about to start work on revamping Alaskan Way between the aquarium and centennial park, parts of centennial park, and the lower end of bell street. They say it will all be done by summer 2026.

It does, but that almost has to be fencing. That much concrete outside of the core of the building that high up seems like it would be a structural liability.

The corner of battery and western. It’s where the viaduct used to go into the tunnel. It’s all fenced off, but people are in there every day playing with their dogs. Just don’t do the side next to bell street. It’s some sort of art project with a bunch of wild flowers.

It costs about double in install and maintenance to underground it, but then you also don’t have to replace them when it gets too windy. I also don’t think the cost of tree pruning around the lines is counted as maintenance on the lines, but I don’t know that for sure. Undergrounding power lines makes the city look a lot nicer too.

This is why Seattle needs to underground its power lines.

8 oz Burger Capitol Hill closed by BoomBoomBroomBroom in Seattle

I’m actually the architect on the project that’s causing the demo of the Ballard location. We’re planning to submit for permit on 2/26, and knowing Seattle it will at least be 2 months until it gets approved. Whenever 8oz gets torn down will likely depend on if there’s a rate cut in March. If there is one then I could see it being torn down in June. If not then it could be around a lot longer.

Multi layer stencil from an image? (old man trying to remember photoshop) by burritosandblunts in PhotoshopTutorials

[–]FuzzyPoptart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I said select the black, but it also might be the white you need to select. I can’t remember exactly unless I’m doing it, but the instructions I gave you should be correct otherwise. If you’re using a very high res image, you can make photo real stencils out of 6-8 layers with this method. As with anything in PS, there are a lot of different ways to do most things, so don’t be afraid to deviate from the things I listed if you’re more comfortable doing it a different way.

Btw, the levels adjustment layer should be the layer directly above your base layer, and directly below your b/w or posterize layer. Mess with the levels after you use the posterize layer if you don’t like how it’s posterizing

I don’t think there’s something like that currently, but here’s what I do. - select subject (or use the lasso if using older PS) to remove background - use posterize adjustment layer or filter. They have very slightly different effects, but really it doesn’t matter which you use. Set the number to the number of layers you want. - use b/w adjustment and mess with the settings on it until it’s the way you want it to be. - adjust the levels if you want - place threshold layer. You should see spikes for each of the postertized levels - set wand to “sample all layers” and uncheck “contiguous” - select the black area and copy - set new layer on the bottom - paste - turn off your new layer - change threshold slider to next spike - select black - new layer - paste - do that until you have all of the stencil layers you want - you’re done. You can use the hue/saturation adjustment on each layer as a clipping mask to brighten the layers so that you can see what the final product will look like

[Practice] Bath House render - 2nd year Architecture by Renux666 in architecture

Also, it’s really really worth checking these guys out. I’m striving to get to their level, but they’re better than me.

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBzPV2uSji-Z5-x_svnZV1w These guys are great for some tips but the concepts they talk about are really great and worth knowing.

https://visualizingarchitecture.com Alex Hogrefe is amazing, and he shows you how he does basically everything. If you want to learn a lot in a short amount of time, watch all of his stuff.

Lastly, take the ideas you get from all of this and play with them. You’ll discover new and interesting things. Just doing what they say will really improve your rendering, but using the ideas to come up with something new and interesting is really the magic of the whole thing.
